Two:

Moon.

If you take out the meaning from a dictionary or on a website, the 'moon' means: the natural satellite of the earth, visible (chiefly at night) by reflected light from the sun.

That is what the book or the science tells but for me it is something mysterious.

The moon is my only connection to him. The only thing that we can communicate, our only line to be together even just for a night... even though I know, there are times moon doesn't show up. Still, night came and I knew he will be there.

He will be there. As always.

Dream World

That night, or rather I say my dream for this day is about the moon that Dione was talking about. I don't know what so special about it but the excitement and the thrill I see to her gives me the feeling that I need to see it. And since I'm in my dream world, or to simplify, I'm dreaming already why don't I just wait for it and see what was she's talking about.

"So, how long are you going to wait?" I asked as soon as we enter back to our room with our classmates that were already there to witness such phenomena that I don't even have a clue.

"Just wait till the sun will set up, you know. The moon will not show herself when the light still there."

"You referred the moon as a 'she'." Isn't a question but rather as a fact since I agree with her, since moon's meaning is like a mother, a sister, an older or even a younger one and a lady because of her beauty and sacrificial for the sun that will rise up every morning. She is the light against the dark, even though the truth, moon does not or cannot commit her own light because she is just a small fragment of land and rocks that surrounds the earth. The moon is the balance of nature and gravity to earth.

So important that humans from the ancient times concluded the moon as a 'her' because she is like a mother that takes care of an infant. A representation of giving birth for a new life before it finally comes to an end of death only to be reborn once again.

To simplify, the moon blooms every night and her light that she gives to earth came from the sun and soon slowly as the night turns to end, she will die as the sun will soon will rise up leaving her back to the dark, like death. She will fade out of the sky.

Isn't it poetic or what? I don't know and I just simply sighed before I heard Dione excitedly pointed something out from the doorway.

"Look!" she said and that was the only time I finally notices my surroundings.

The sky suddenly turns dark yet the sky still light up but not because of the sun but because of the... moon?

Is this for real or... yeah! I totally forgot I am just dreaming.

"What is--" I was about to asked when suddenly I was caught up by this figure that was sitting near at the door way.

It was a guy and he was sitting right at the front of the crimson gold moon. His sit was just one blocks away from our chair and he was sitting right at the armchair of his chair while looking right through the moon.

I don't know and I couldn't explain it. But the figure I saw was too mysterious. The way he was looking so intently through the moon make me want to look at it too and when I did. I knew our eyes met for only a couple of seconds. Not that we met eye to eye but we met through the moon.

Reflection yet it is impossible.

"Hey!" suddenly Dione breaks my thought and cut off the thing that suddenly hypnotize me. "What are you staring at?"

"The moon." I quickly answered.

"Really or..." she suddenly averts her eyes out of me and then looks at the front. "You were looking at them." She didn't ask but she stated the truth.

"Of course not!" I quickly deny but then my eyes still comes back at the front where I finally see it clearly, he isn't alone. "Wh-who's that with him?"

"Surprised?" she mockingly answered.

"Shut it, will you!" I said. "So..." I deeply heaved a sigh.

"Yes. You're right. That is his girlfriend."

"Oh..." 'Girlfriend' yeah, what am I thinking? Oh, no God! This is just a dream and then, I... I immediately stop myself from thinking further and focus my eyes through the moon. And for some reason, I try to find the reflection that I saw earlier but then I failed to find it. "The reflection." I speak it out loud without even noticing I said it.

"Huh? What reflection?" Dione asked that made me to look back at her.

"You— never mind." I said since she wouldn't understand so, once again I look back to the moon but to my surprised, the guy that was sitting at the view suddenly turned his head a little towards us. I don't know if Dione notices it or I'm just hallucinating because it was so sudden, because right now he was holding the hand of his girlfriend while smiling back to each other.

'What was that?' I silently emphasize my question before the moon lit up so brightly and things go blank.

Fabbri Residence

I woke up from the lights that coming from the spaces of the curtains through the window. Finally my dream ended.

As soon as my eyes see the light, I already knew its morning. I stretch out my whole body before I pray then I sit down afterwards.

Who was that man? That is the last thing that marks my mind after my dream ended and thinking of it. I know he tried to look at me.
