The doorbell rang, and Greg went to answer it. He was surprised to see Chioma standing there, a smile on her face.

"you should have call me to come pick you up" Greg said

But Chioma was already walking past him into the kitchen. "it's not necessary, why are you surprise to see me?? have you forgotten that today is Saturday," she said.

"Oh, right,"greg said, snapping back to reality. "I had forgotten it was Saturday. My bad.

" Chole grinned. "No worries," she said. "So, I'm here to teach you how to cook. Are you ready for this?"

"Bring it on," he said, throwing up his hands in mock surrender. "I'm ready for whatever you throw at me."

Chole laughed, a gleam in her eye. "We'll see about that," she said, grabbing a pot from the cabinet.

"We meet again," Raymond said, his voice tinged with a hint of amusement.

"Yes, we do," Gita said, a small smile playing on her lips.

"This time, let's actually talk," Raymond said, his tone becoming more serious. "No more awkward silences, okay?"

"Okay," Gita said, a bit nervous. "What do you want to talk about?"

"But first, let's grab some food," Raymond said, a smile on his face. "My treat."

"Oh, that's not necessary," Gita said, but Raymond wouldn't take no for an answer.

"I insist," he said, his tone firm but friendly. "It's the least I can do after leaving you hanging last time."

"Well, in that case..." Gita said, giving in with a shrug. "What kind of food are we talking about?"

"Whatever you want," Raymond said, eager to make it up to her. "My treat, no arguments."

Chole put the finishing touches on the meal she had prepared, while Greg wiped down the counters and straightened up the kitchen.

They had been cooking together for an hour, laughing and chatting as they worked.

The meal was a success, and they were both proud of their culinary efforts.

"I think we make a great team," Chole said, grinning. "We should definitely do this again sometime."

Greg smiled and nodded. "I agree," he said. "We make a great cooking duo."

"See, cooking jollof rice isn't so hard," Chole said, grinning. "It's just like riding a bike or learning your ABCs. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be a pro."

Greg chuckled. "I wouldn't go that far," he said, rolling his eyes. "But I think I'm getting the hang of it."

Chole clapped her hands together. "Alright, then it's time to set the table," she said.

"We'll do it together, just like we did the cooking." Greg nodded, feeling excited to complete the process.

Chole and Greg worked together to set the table, laying out plates, cutlery, and glasses with efficiency and grace. They worked like a well-oiled machine, each knowing their part and moving in unison.

The table soon looked like it belonged in a fancy restaurant, and they both stood back to admire their handiwork. "It looks perfect,"

Chole said, a hint of pride in her voice. "I feel like a professional chef!" Greg laughed.

"You certainly have the skills," he said. "Now, let's dig in!"

After finishing their meal, Greg popped a disc into the DVD player and turned on the TV. The screen lit up with a selection of different dance videos, and the room was soon filled with the sound of music.
