"I want to change," Alex said, his eyes filled with resolve

"I'm serious," Alex said, his voice growing more urgent. "I want to be a better person."

"I'm being serious here," Alex said, looking Greg and Raymond in the eyes. "I'm tired of being the way I am. I want to be different."
Greg and Raymond exchanged a look, unsure of what to say. They'd never heard Alex talk like this before. "What do you mean, exactly?" Greg asked, his voice cautious.
"I mean, I want to be more like you guys," Alex said, his voice growing softer. "I want to be kinder, more considerate.
"Okay, we're going to help you," Raymond said, his voice full of sincerity.
"Yes, we'll be your very own Yoda," Greg said, a grin spreading across his face.
"Stop joking, Greg!" Alex said, though he couldn't help but smile. "This is serious."
"I'm not joking," Greg said, his tone turning more serious. "I'm just trying to lighten the mood."
"I know," Alex said, his expression softening. "But I really do want to change. I'm serious about this."
"Okay, step one," Raymond said, counting on his fingers.
"Be nice," Greg said, nodding his head.
"Number two," Raymond said, his voice taking on a more serious tone.
"Always smile," Greg said, his smile stretching from ear to ear.
"Number three," Raymond said, the anticipation building.
"Don't ignore people when they greet you," Greg said, his voice stern but caring. "Make an effort to engage with them."
"That sounds like a lot," Alex said, his face suddenly looking overwhelmed.
"Are you sure you're ready to change?" Raymond asked, his voice full of concern.
"Of course I am," Alex said, his eyes flashing with determination. "I'm tired of being this way."
"Then you need to listen to us," Greg said, leaning forward in his chair. "We'll help you every step of the way."
"Okay, I'll do it," Alex said, exhaling slowly. "But this is going to be hard."
"It'll be worth it in the end," Raymond said, patting Alex on the shoulder. "I promise."
"So you're doing this because of Ariel?" Greg asked, his eyebrows raised.
"Yes, I love her," Alex said, his cheeks turning pink. "I've never felt this way about anyone before. I want to be the best version of myself for her."
"Awwww, that's so sweet," Greg and Raymond said in unison, their eyes filled with affection.
"I'm serious," Alex said, his voice growing more emphatic. "I really mean it."
"We know you do," Greg said, patting Alex on the back.
