"What's going on between you and Ray?" Regina asked, her voice curious.

"Nothing," Gita said, trying to sound casual. "We're just friends."

"But you two seem so close," Regina said, not sounding convinced. "Are you sure there's nothing more going on?"

"I'm sure," Gita said,  "We're just good friends, that's all."

"I want you to stay away from him," Regina said, her voice firm and unyielding.

"Are you serious?" Gita said, her eyes wide with disbelief. "You can't be serious."

"I am serious," Regina said, not backing down. "I don't want you to see him anymore."

"I can't do that," Gita said, shaking her head. "I'm sorry, but I can't just cut him out of my life."

"Well, then I guess we have a problem," Regina said, her voice cold and steely.

"You'll have to sort this out yourself," Gita said, her voice firm and unyielding.

"No, you don't understand," Regina said, her voice growing more desperate. "I'm serious, I don't want you seeing him anymore."

Gita said nothing, refusing to engage in the argument. She turned and walked away, leaving Regina standing alone.

"You won't believe what happened to me today," Jonna said, bursting into the room.

"What happened?" Ella asked, her curiosity piqued.

"It was that idiot Alex," Jonna said, her face contorting with annoyance.

Ella's eyes widened as she sat up straighter, eager to hear more.

"You have to tell us everything! Spill the beans!" she said, her voice full of excitement. Jonna let out a sigh, and began to tell her story.

"I'm not kidding, you guys, Alex totally humiliated me today," Jonna said, her voice quivering with anger. "I just wanted to ask him about an assignment, and he made a complete fool out of me in front of everyone."

"No way!" Ella said, shocked by the news. "What exactly did he do?"

"I was trying to talk to him after class," Jonna said, her voice growing louder with each word. "And he started yelling at me, saying I was bothering him.

"Ugh, I told you guys he was a jerk!" Ariel exclaimed, clearly furious on Jonna's behalf.

"I know," Jonna said, her voice sounding defeated. "I just feel so embarrassed and humiliated. I don't know what to do."

I apologize on his behalf " Ella said

Well apologize decline, not accepted" Jonna said.

"Jonna you're totally right about that guy," Ariel said. "He's so condescending and arrogant, it's disgusting. And the worst part is, he acts like he's better than everyone else, even though he's not any better than anyone else. He's such a pretentious jerk!"

Jonna let out a deep sigh, relieved to have Ariel's support. "Thank you, Ariel. It's good to know that I'm not the only one who sees through his act."

"Oh, if I'd been there when that happened," Ariel said, her eyes flashing, "I would have given him a piece of my mind. He had no right to treat you like that, and I'm so sorry that happened."

"Thank you, Ariel," she said. "That means a lot to me."

"That guy should be ashamed of himself!"Ariel exclaimed, her voice rising with indignation. "He's supposed to be a student, and students should be willing to help each other out. It's his responsibility to be respectful and kind, and he was totally out of line. You deserve better than that, and I hope he learns his lesson." Ariel's words were fierce, and her face was flushed with anger. "I'd have given him a piece of my mind if I were you, Jonna!"

Ariel that's okay, Jonna once again I apologize on his behalf" Ella said.

"It's not your apology that I need, Ella, I'm starving," Jonna said, her stomach rumbling in agreement.

"Let's get some food," Ariel said, her eyes lighting up at the thought of a snack. "I've got some noodles in the fridge - you want some?"

"Yes please!" Jonna said, feeling her appetite returning. "Maybe some tea too?"

"Of course," Ariel said, heading for the kitchen. "You just sit down and relax, I'll bring it to you."

"Do you guys mind keeping it down?" Ella said, her voice a bit exasperated. "I'm trying to study over here."

"Sorry, Ella," Jonna said, immediately feeling contrite. "We'll be quiet."

"Thanks," Ella said, giving them a grateful smile.

Ariel approached her friend, Becky, who was busy flipping through her notes.

"Hey, have you seen David?" Ariel  asked, scanning the room.

"Last I saw, he was over by the library," Becky replied, pointing in the direction of the stacks. "I'm sure he's still there if you need to find him."

Ariel thanked her friend and made her way over to the library, hoping to catch up with David before class started.

Ariel caught her breath, still a little out of breath from her sprint across the campus. "Hey, David," she said, leaning over to put her hands on her knees. "Why are you sitting out here all alone?"

David looked up from his book, startled by Ariel's sudden appearance. "Oh, hey," he said, a small smile on his face. "I just needed a quiet place to study. It's hard to focus with all the noise in the library."

"You know, you look a little stressed," she said.

David hurriedly began shoving his books into his bag, his movements jerky and uncoordinated. "Ariel, I have to go," he said, his voice shaking. "There's someone I need to meet with, and it's really important."

Ariel's brow furrowed in concern. "Are you okay?" she asked, her voice soft. "You seem so stressed."

David avoided her gaze, his shoulders hunched. "I'm fine," he mumbled, zipping up his bag. "I just need to go."

"David, please talk to me," she said, her voice pleading. "You've been acting strange lately,And you have been avoiding me."

"To be honest, you've never offended me," David said, finally meeting Ariel's gaze.he said, his voice heavy with regret. "It's not you, it's just... I have to do what Alex  says. I'm sorry." With that, he turned and walked away,

leaving Ariel standing there, confused and hurt. She let out a small sigh and whispered to herself,

"Alex again" A tear rolled down her cheek as she watched him disappear into the crowd.
