Chapter 14 - The Devil's Ride

The moment we entered into the theme park, the 3 of them were behaving like kids. They arerunning around happily while I am standing there looking at them and the rides at the same time.Can I really overcome my fear and take the rides with them? I wondered. Jimin came over andput his hand over my shoulder and lead me over to the roller coaster ride.

Cheryl and Yoongi are both screaming out of excitement while I am screaming out in fear insidemy heart. Oh no...How am I going to ride this roller coaster with them? This ride is not call "TheDevil's Ride" for nothing. This roller coaster has all the sharp and fast turns, etc. Can I evensurvive this first ride today? We shall see then.

This roller coaster is so famous that people from all around the world came here for this rollercoaster ride. The queue is so damn long! Lucky the weather today is not that hot or else we wouldhave been roasted under the hot sun! We waited for about 45 minutes before our turn. Jiminsuddenly whispered into my ears "Don't be afraid Connie. I am here. Just grab onto my arms orhands whenever you need to during the ride." I gasped loudly but silently inside my heart.

Jimin and I are sitting in the middle section of the roller coaster while my twinnie, Cheryl andYoongi ran towards the front section and buckled themselves up as though they are ready at anytime! I was too afraid to do anything while seated so Jimin came slightly over my waist andbuckled up the seat belt for me and later for himself. Jimin looked at me feeling kinda worried. Icould see it from his facial expressions at the corner of my eyes.

The theme park crew did their last check before they press the button to let the roller coaster go."Hi guys! Welcome to The Devil's Ride. The roller coaster will be setting off in 1...2...3...." Thetheme park crew counting away. Seconds later, I could feel this rush inside my brain and the rollercoaster is already moving in high speed. My heart is almost coming out from my mouth and thenI let out a loud scream of fear. Jimin on the other hand looks very happy and he is smiling allthe way until he heard my scream and he quickly placed his hand over mine and he hold it sotightly and tells me "I'm here. Don't be afraid. It will be over soon before you know it."

I don't know why but Jimin's firm grip of his hand and his words sort of calmed me down a littleand I managed to control myself from screaming and I actually seated quite calmly throughoutthe remaining of the ride. Soon after, the roller coaster ride has come to an end. Phew~ I thoughtto myself and then suddenly realizing that Jimin's hand is still over mine. I blushed immediately.My face is so red that Jimin thought I was feeling hot or something out from the screaming andstuffs. I just wanna dig a hole right now and hide myself inside. I was already feeling soembarrassed and there is Jimin unbuckling my seatbelt for me.
