Chapter 40 - The Hurtful Past Part 1

After breakfast, Yoongi and Cheryl decided to go out and walk around. There is this shoppingmall which is just nearby their apartment and Cheryl wanted to take a look around theirneighborhood as well so they told us that they will spend maybe half a day today outside. Theyasked if we wanna join them. Jimin saw my tired face and said "I think we're good. Connie seemskinda tired so I guess we both will just stay at home for today. You both enjoy!" Jimin smiled atme while squeezing my arm. I guess I was too tired that I was actually dazing into space. Jiminthen nudged me "Hey sweetie, are you feeling okay? You look tired though. Why don't you sitdown while I go and do the dishes." "Sure...I will just sit down on the sofa and just close my eyes alittle." I said to Jimin.

I could hear the dishes clanking inside the kitchen sink while Jimin was doing the dishes. I don'tknow how long did I take to fall asleep on the sofa. All I know was that when I opened my eyes, Icould feel Jimin's hand caressing my face and I am already lying on Jimin's lap. "Hey my dear...You're awake..." Jimin said while caressing my face gently. "Did I actually fell asleep, Jimin?" Iasked. "Yeah...you did...I think you are too tired already." Jimin smiled while still caressing myface. I blushed. I quickly sit up and leaned myself against Jimin's shoulder. "Shall we watch amovie or some dramas?" Jimin asked. "A drama!" I replied excitedly. "Sure...a drama that is.." Jiminsmiled while searching for a drama to watch.

The drama was not bad until the part where it reminded me of my past. My hurtful past. It was alittle too intensive for me. I was staring into TV for god knows for how long and tears startingforming in my eyes. I don't even know that I was crying only until when Jimin asked me why Iwas crying. I looked at Jimin with my teary eyes, couldn't help it but I leaned forward to hugJimin so tightly that Jimin was shocked by my sudden actions. "Hey my sweetie. What's wrong?Are you okay?" Jimin asked while stroking my hair. I can't even opened up my mouth to answerJimin and I just kept crying until I literally broke down in front of Jimin and I found myselfalready on the floor before I knew it. Jimin was so shaken by what just happened and he quicklyhelped me up to sit back on the sofa. "What's wrong my dear? You're scaring me now.." Jiminasking with a serious concerned look on his face.

"I...I...." Still words couldn't formed properly from my mouth. I found myself just mumbling away.I kept on crying and this goes on for quite awhile until I managed to calm myself down a little butstill breathing shakily. Jimin looked at me with his concerned yet worried eyes. "What's wrong mysweetheart? You know that you can tell me anything, everything." Jimin said while stroking theback of my hands. "I...I will tell you what happened but can you promise me something? That youwon't freak out or judge me or leaving me..?" I asked while still shaken from fear. "Silly girl. Whywould I leave you? I can't even wait to protect you so why would I leave you, my dear?" Jimin saidto me with a assuring smile on his face. After hearing what he said, I picked up the courage to tellJimin what had happened.
