Chapter 52 - The Miracle

I was being discharged after a week I was in the hospital and Cheryl was being discharged too. Itotally have no mood to study for our final semester examinations and so I actually failed my finalsemester examinations and had to stay back for another semester to complete my years in college.But all I could think of is Jimin lying in the hospital and I really want to accompany him by hisside everyday. Besides heading college, all I do is go to the hospital and accompanied Jimin by hisside, making sure that I will be the first person that he sees when he wakes up. Cheryl was feelingdamn worried about me as I am not eating and sleeping well at all. I would spend most of mytime accompanying Jimin by his side and not leaving any inches from him.

It has been weeks and Jimin is still in coma. I couldn't care about myself anymore, like how do Ilook in front of people, my families, my friends and even Cheryl. Then one day when Yoongi andCheryl came over to visit Jimin, Yoongi asked "Connie, do you have any idea that your stepfatherwas actually involved in this?" I shook my head "No, Yoongi. I don't even know at all. My mumand I had already lost contact with my stepfather since I was very little. The only memory that Ihad was that he left us without saying a word. And out of the sudden, I saw him again when youguys were confronting one another. And I have never seen him again since then."

"Will my twinnie be in danger?" Cheryl questioned Yoongi. "Not to worry, I have already reportedto Jimin's father about the whole situation and he had already found someone to protect us."Yoongi reassured us. Suddenly, Yoongi's mobile rang. "Hello Mr Park. Understood. Yes...Alright."Immediately after Yoongi hung up the call, he let out a big sigh of relief. "My ladies, good news.Mr Park just told me that they have managed to find and killed Connie's stepfather. MrHenderson. So we don't have any danger or threats anymore." Cheryl let out a sigh of relief tooupon hearing what Yoongi had say.

Yoongi then left with Cheryl, leaving me with Jimin alone in the room. I looked at Jimin by hisbedside and I began stroking his hand slowly and gently. "Jimin...my dear...please wake upsoon...Your father just called Yoongi up to inform that Mr Henderson had been found and killed.So we are all safe now..." I was crying again and my tears dropped onto Jimin's hand. I prayed thatJimin could wake up soon. Please let Jimin wake up soon...I prayed. I have so many things to tellyou, my dear Jimin. I will stay here with you until you wake up. I thought to myself.

From weeks, it had become months and Jimin is still in a coma. Just like any other days, I went tothe hospital to visit Jimin as usual after my classes and I brought lunch with me. Even though I donot have any appetite to eat but I still forced myself to eat. For the sake of Jimin and myself, Ihave to keep myself in a good shape and I cannot afford to fall ill. I need to take care of Jimin. Iwas crying while having lunch so my head was looking down the whole time. Just as I was cryingwith my head down, I felt a touch on my forehead. At first, I thought it was my imagination butno. I felt a touch on my forehead again. The touch is so soft and delicate.

I lift my head up and saw Jimin's finger landed on my forehead. I was shocked for a moment but Iknew that it was for real when Jimin spoke "I am awake already my dear sweetie. Have you waitedvery long for me? I am so sorry my dear." Jimin planted a soft kiss on my hands and gave me hisreassuring smile. I smiled back and I went to call the doctor in to have a check on Jimin. I wascrying again but this time round they are tears of joy. Jimin has finally woken up and I am sohappy about it. I quickly gave Yoongi and Cheryl a call and tell them that Jimin has woken up.They told me that they will be here soon. After the doctor gave Jimin a check, he told me thatJimin's vitals so far all are good and stable but would still need him to stay for another week forobservation. If everything is stable, they would be able to discharge Jimin.

Yoongi and Cheryl arrived at the hospital shortly after the doctor had left the room. "Hey bro...!!You're looking so much better now. The past few days your face has been so pale." Yoongi toldJimin. "My twinnie has been coming here everyday without fail since the day you went into coma.She has been taking care of you ever since and wants to be the first person that you would seewhen you wake up. You better treat my twinnie even better from now onwards! Or else I will notlet you off! You hear that, Jimin?" Cheryl said. "Of course I will treat your twinnie even better. Iwant to treat her better than each day. I want to give her the best. She is my sweetheart princess.She is my everything and I really cannot do without her now... I love her so damn much!!!" Jiminexclaimed while pulling me to his side. "Glad to hear that, Jimin." Cheryl and Yoongi smirked atJimin.

The whole room is filling up with laughter now and I have been missing these laughter eversince Jimin went into coma. "How's your final semester examinations?" Jimin suddenly asked."Erm...Well...I....I failed and I am re-doing my final semester now..." I replied with my headlooking down. Jimin then gently pushed my chin up "Look, I'm really sorry that I have made youfailed your final semester examinations my dear. I felt so bad.." "No no!! It's okay, Jimin...I can redo this semester and just pass the final examinations. I just couldn't concentrate and was not in amood to study at all. In my mind is all about you, Jimin. I was really so worried about you and justwanted to accompany you and be by your side." I told Jimin while sobbing. "Silly girl..." Jiminstoked my hair and smiled. Looking at Jimin's smile right now, it was all worth it. I thought tomyself.
