Ride 'n' fall

"Express?" i called put as the gate squecked open. the massive bay stallion walked up to me. his head covered in flashing white markings bobbed as he walked over to me. the weather had warmed up so i was in a green crop top with flashing new green breeches and black socks tucked into my black boots. express wlaked up to me and halted. i crouched down and ran my hand now his legs to check for cuts when i saw a stunning paint horse gallop up to me.

"confetti!" i said strokign his patterned face. i looked over and saw ally. she let out a smile and walke dover to me holding a red halter and lead rope.

"why did the groom have to be sick? ugh. i have to catch and tack up Firefly. i will get my sneakers dirty" a high pitched scream let out. i looked at ally with a raised eyebrow.

"this is gonna be good" ally said slipping a halter on confetti. i nodded and watched as stacey, the spolit twelve year old grabbed a purple halter from the fence and held it up confused.

stacey walked up tapped the gate confused.

"open sesanme?" she said. me and ally looked at each other and just laughed.

"she is stupid" i bellowed falling to the ground. after about a few minutes she manged to open the gate and started calling out for firefly. the stunning white stallion cantered over covered in mud and dirt.

"thank gosh express is a  bay" i grinned brushing his arm causing him to flinch.

stacey looked over at the horse and walked up to him. the blonde haired brat put the halter on.upside.down. we started to watch as stacy lead the confused and muddy sfirefly out of the paddock and lead him down the road to the stable.

"oh my god! she is so stupid" i bellowed laughing.

"well im gonna go ride, see ya at the stable" ally said leading the gelding out. i smiled and waved good bye.

something came over me. something ive nevr felt beofre. my hands moved without me telling them to. i watched as i tied the other end of the rope to the halter. i slowly lead him over to the fence. i held the leadrope-reins and  placed my hands on his soft back. i swung my body over his back leaving my body spread out acorss his back. i slipped my right leg over his body and sat on his back.

 my legs gently tapped on his side and he moved into a walk. my metal arm raspped his thick wild mane. i fwlt his mucles loosen and relax. we lapped around the paddock calmy. the stallion didnt even look at the other stallions and geldings he just walked. i held the leadrope tighter and gave him a squeeze and we moved into a trot. my heels faced the sky as i let him lap the grass paddock. 

"wow good boy" i said very shocked. feeling really confident i slipped my right leg back for a cnater. my leg went to far back and he kicked his hind legs out. 

my legs clung to his back as he bucked harder and harder. every step his legs seemed to get closer and closer to his head. suddnely he flung to a stop suddleny. he slammed his feet down and i felt my body fling forward. i started screaming as i flew through the air. my jaw dropped open when i saw a fence infront of my head. my body plumted to the ground and started sldiing across the muddy ground. dang it. my brand new breeches. express had stopped hsi frekaing out and was just grazing. i sat up checking for anything broken or twisted. all good. i stood up and walked over to the calm stalliom

"come on lets try one more time" i begged and brought him over to the fence. once more i swung my body over him and asked for a walk. i gave him a tap with my boots and we moved into a trot. i gripped his mane with both my hands bracing my self for a buck to come eout at any moment. i slid my heel back and he moved into a canter. i smiled and lifted my hands off his mane feeling the widn in my hair when i felt his front legs leave the ground. my hands flung forwrad as he lfited his front legs up into the air. his hooves hit the groudn and he let out a firey buck. as we lapped the paddock he bucked harder each time.

"woah. easy easy. easy . easy" i screamed as let out a massive buck. hit back legs flew up and i flew forward slamming into hsi neck. he yanked his head down and i tumbled into a massive pile of horse dung. i looked at the sky and just sighed. i sood up and mounted back on and asked for a canter. this time he moved calmly. the paddock was filled with jumps and i grasped the leadrope-reins and we cantered towards a small log jump. i pulled the rope inwards. his front kegs rose up and. his back legs proppled himself over the log. his landed on the other side and suddnely flung himslelf left.

"yikes, easy" i said clining on. express let out a half buck forcing me back onto his back/

"thanks buddy" i said smiling at him and pushing him left towards a much bigger jump. i gripped the reins and we moved into a faster canter. the jump was a rolltop, with a rmap jump just strides away. i leaned forwrad as he pushed himself over the jump. i gribbed his back with my calves as wel flew over the jump landing without a sound and barley a stride later taking off again. as we cantered around the paddock for what felt like forver. suddnely i heard a scream. express slowled down and walke dover to the source of the shrick.

"you rode express!?" ally said jumping up and down.

"yes... i did" i said
