Open day was in full swing, and a lot of the regulars were back. I was doing John's job behind the cash register since he was now MIA.

I was ringing out a good friend and loyal customer Clint Barton and his wife Laura.

"Where are the rugrats?" I asked about their kids, and they laughed.

"In the maze. It looked crazy this year." Laura said and I nodded.

"John wanted to go all out...I have yet to go through it. I think I might take Garrett later." I said.

"Haven't seen much of John or Garrett this trip...how are they?" Clint asked and I shrugged.

"I mean as good as they can be I guess...it's been a tough time." I said and Laura came around the counter and gave me a hug.

"You guys need anything you come and find us. Even if you just need us to take Garrett for a night, he is always welcome." Clint said and I smiled as Laura, and I broke apart from the hug.

"MOM! DAD! The maze was amazing!" Clint and Laura's oldest son came running into the shop and said and then he said to me.

"Hi Autumn! The maze was awesome!"

"I'll let John know." I said. They picked up a few more items and out the door they went to load their pumpkins in the truck.

I made myself busy around the shop since it was a little slow and started straightening up. I heard the bell over the door indicate someone walked in.

"Welcome to Walker Farms." I said with a smile. I saw two guys and a woman walk in.

"Thanks." The woman said and I could tell I had never seen them before.

I went back to making myself busy when I heard the woman talking to the men.

"Bucky, I don't understand why you're against it..."

"Because Nat, an outdoor wedding in October is sketchy...the weather and everything. Steve back me up."

"I'm staying out of this..."

"Smart man Steve." The woman said and I gave a small smile to myself. "And we have to pick something Bucky since we lost the last venue. We are getting married in less than a month. I'm not postponing again."

"Finding a place in a month Nat isn't going to happen."

I knew I could speak up, we did offer weddings, but they were few and far in between. I walked behind the counter and grabbed one of the brochures and walked over to the group.

"Not that I was eavesdropping or that I want to butt in, but we offer weddings here." I said and handed the brochure over to the woman and she smiled at me.

"And you have an opening for the second weekend in October?" She asked and I nodded.

"We do...we don't get many weddings here." I said and she smiled.

"And the whole pumpkin patch would be open for guest?" Nat asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, the maze, apple orchard, pumpkins...all of it. Even able to be purchased and the barn would be a great place for your reception." I explained and Nat squealed as she looked at Bucky.

"BUCK! It's perfect!" I smiled as she kissed his cheek.

"I'm Nat by the way and this is my fiancé James, but everyone called him Bucky." I shook both their hands.

"Nice to meet both of you." I said and looked at the guy who was with them.

"Oh, this is our friend Steve, he will be officiating the wedding. We are both his best friends, and we don't know what side he should go on." Bucky explained and I smiled as I shook his hand.

"Well makes sense." I said. "I'm Autumn Walker, I co-own this place." I finally introduced myself.  Before I could continue John and Garrett came walking in and Garrett ran up to me.

"Aunt Auta! Can we go through the maze?" Garrett asked and I smiled down at him.

"Hey buddy..." I said and motioned to the people I was talking to, and he blushed.

"Sorry..." He said and I smiled as I tousled his hair.

"Soon...okay?" I asked and he nodded as he ran off to the kitchen to see Agatha. "John...come over here." I said and he grumbled but walked over from where he was standing behind the register.

"Yeah?" He asked.

"This is Nat, Bucky and Steve. Nat and Bucky are looking to get married here the second weekend in October." I said.

"We aren't doing weddings." John said and I snapped my head and looked at him. I then looked back at Nat and Bucky.

"Give us a moment." I said and grabbed John's arm and pulled him off to the side, away from them. "What the fuck John? We said we would be open to weddings."

"Right and now, I changed my mind." John snapped.

"You can't make all decisions for the farm John, we both own it and I say they can have the wedding. You don't like it you don't have to deal with it. I will take it over." I said and John grumbled and stormed out. I sighed and hung my head for a second but then walked back over to Nat, Bucky and Steve.

"Is everything okay?" Steve asked and I nodded.

"My brother and I own the place, left to us by our parents. He seems to forget we both own it." I said and everyone half nodded.

"Well as long as we can still get married here..." Nat trailed off and I nodded.

"You sure can." I said. "I will go get you all the paperwork to fill out and bring back with the deposit, if you guys would just like to look around the farm." I said and they smiled.

"Sounds great." Nat said and followed me to the register where I knew the paperwork was filed away. I handed her everything she would need and then I heard the bell ring above the door again and I looked up and groaned.

"Can you excuse me please?" I asked and they nodded as I walked over to the new customers.

"Why must you be here?" I asked.

Detective Fury and Detective Stark.

"You said you would come in and talk to us." Stark said and I groaned.

"Been a little busy...I will come in this week, I swear. Can you please leave before John see's you?" I asked and they sighed.

"Make sure you come in." Fury said and they walked out. I sighed. Today was just getting better and better....

After Nat, Bucky and Steve got the paperwork they headed out to check out the pumpkins and everything. After probably an hour Steve came walking in.

"Hey, you found a pumpkin." I said with a chuckle, and he nodded setting it on the counter.

"There is a trick-or-treat in my neighborhood, figured I could participate this year." Steve said and I smiled.

"This pumpkin might not make it a whole almost 2 months..." I said and Steve smiled.

"Then I guess I will just have to come back..." Steve said and smiled at me and I hoped my blush was hidden as I looked down to ring up his pumpkin. He then placed some of the pumpkin bread on the counter.

"This any good?" Steve asked.

"The best. Baked in house." I said and Steve smiled. I gave Steve his total, he paid and then broke into the package the pumpkin bread was in. I smiled as he moaned.

"That's amazing." Steve said and I smiled with a nod.

"Told you." I said and he smiled.

Before anything else could be said Nat and Bucky walked in.

"Steve, we gotta go." Bucky said and I smiled.

"Be back with this in a few days." Nat said and I nodded.

"Sounds great." I said and smiled. I then looked at Steve.

"See you around Autumn." He said.

"You too Steve." I said as I watched them walk out.

"Flirting with customers...wow." I heard John say.

"Fuck you." I said and walked out of the shop.
