***AUTUMN POV***

I was walking into the police station. I didn't want to be here, but it had been a week since the opening of the farm and I knew they would be making their appearance again soon. I walked up to the front desk and sighed.

"I'm here to see either Detective Fury or Detective Stark." I said and they picked up the phone and I walked over to the bulletin board on the wall and scanned everything on there. I still saw Olivia's missing poster I had put up. I was thinking of everything Olivia and I had been through when I heard someone clear their throat.

"Strolling down memory lane?" Detective Fury asked and I sighed turning around.

"Just thinking of my lost sister-in-law wondering why the hell I'm here again." I said.

"Why don't we go talk in an interrogation room?" Stark asked and I sighed.

"Do I need to get my lawyer down here?" I asked pulling out my cellphone.

"No, we just want to go over that night again. We need to know everything." Tony Stark, the one detective said.

"Yeah well, all that happened that night is what I have told you a million times. We went out to dinner with some friends as a girl's night out. When we went to leave, she had a migraine and I offered to drive her home, but she said she had it and drove away. That was the last I saw of her. I didn't know she was missing until John called me the next morning to see if she was at my house." I repeated my statement. I crossed my arms as they just stood there. "Can I go now? I have errands to run to actually do my job..." I said and they sighed but nodded. I walked out of the police station and left.

A few minutes later I was arriving at the store, Agatha had sent me a list of supplies she needed at the bakery since John decided to cancel shipments and not tell anyone and she was out of everything. I was pushing my cart through the grocery store while looking at the shopping list. I wasn't paying a bit of attention when I hit someone's cart.

"Oh god! I'm sorry." I said and looked up to be met with the same ocean blue eyes I met once before. "Oh hey! Steve, right?" I asked and he smiled at me.

"Hey, it's okay and yeah Steve. You're Autumn, from the pumpkin place." Steve said and I nodded.

"Yeah, that's me. Your friends are getting married at the farm..." I said and Steve smiled.

"Yeah." He replied.

Why did this conversation seem to be going so awkward and why was Steve having an issue looking me in my eyes.

"Is everything okay?" I asked and Steve sighed but nodded.

"Yeah sorry. I was lost in thought when we bumped carts so maybe this is on both of us." Steve said and I shrugged.

"Maybe..."

Steve looking in my cart and saw all the baking supplies.

"You having a massive baking party or something?" Steve asked and I chuckled but shook my head. We both started walking through the store together.

"No, my brother thought he would make the genius decision to cancel the shipment of the ingredients my baker needed to make everything so here I am grabbing it all." I said.

"John do that a lot?" Steve asked and I shrugged.

"John thinks he knows how to run the business and likes to prove that point to me but yet everything he does is a mistake and has consequences, yet he never realizes them until it's too late." I said and stopped to grab some flour.

"What do you mean?" Steve asked and I sighed.

"Exactly what I said. I mean he just doesn't think sometimes. If he knew the truth -..."

"Truth about what?" Steve asked and I groaned.

"The Pumpkin farm and all the acreage was left to both of us but I saw the breakdown of who got what percent and it wasn't 50/50 like he thinks." I said and Steve stopped walking and looked at me.

"What was it?"

"Well, 51/49. I got the most. Mom and dad left it mostly to me." I said. We continued walking.

"Then why haven't you told John this?" Steve asked.

"Because I don't need a reason for him to go apeshit crazy." I said and half nodded.

"Does he do that a lot? Go crazy?" Steve asked. I just shrugged.

"I mean whenever he does, I just ignore it. I grew up with it, I'm used to it." I said.

"But has he ever hurt you or anything?" Steve asked and I just looked at him oddly.

"Steve, is there something you are wanting to ask me?" I asked. Steve stiffened. I just smirked at him. "Sorry, didn't mean to panic you. I was just messing with you. You sound like Detective Fury and Stark...always with the questions." I mumbled the last half.

"Stark and Fury?" Steve asked and I groaned.

"Come on Steve, if you aren't new to town its obviously no secret who John and I are." I said and he hung his head.

"Well, I will admit I knew John, but I didn't know he had a sister." Steve said and I half nodded.

"Since I was being questioned a lot at the start and was even a suspect for a while, hell k still may be, I don't know, I stayed out of the public eye."

"You're a suspect?" Steve gasped.

"I was the last one to see Olivia alive. We were out together the night she disappeared. Girls' night with some girls but I was the one to walk her to her car that night, so they were questioning me a lot." I said.

"When did they finally let you go?" Steve asked.

"Well security footage showed me leaving the parking lot alone in my car, opposite direction she went and then my doorbell camera caught me getting home 30 minutes later. They are still trying to tell me it shouldn't have taken me 30 minutes to get home and that I'm not seen I'm some traffic cams." I explained. Steve was silent for a few minutes and then looked at me.

"Autumn, I need to tell you-..." Steve started to say but was interrupted by my cellphone ringing.

"Shit, it's Agatha. I really have to go Steve. Listen, it was really nice bumping into you. I hope we can maybe do it again sometime?" I asked and Steve smiled with a nod as his dream came rushing back to his head.

"I would really like that." Steve said and I smiled.

"You know where to find me if you ever want to." I said with a wink and walked away.

I walked away from this man I barely knew but just bared tons of information to about my life, the farm and how I was a suspect in Olivia's murder...no disappearance, she was just missing, she wasn't murdered...right?
