8 - Get Me Info

I was sitting in the interrogation room alone just waiting for my lawyer to arrive. I was hoping John would know who to call and not get me some cheap public defender. I looked at the one-way glass in the room and I knew the detectives were sitting behind there watching me, waiting...

They wanted to question me but I asked for a lawyer the minute we got to the police station so they couldn't. I knew John was calling me someone I just had time to sit here and wonder about Lemar and wonder who could have killed him. I knew it wasn't me...right? Was I in a blind rage? Any time missing from my head? Come one Autumn don't act stupid, you didn't kill the man. I hung my head and closed my eyes. I just wanted all of this to be over. I wanted to find out what happened to Olivia, now Lemar and just go about my life.

I heard a soft knock on the door, and it opened. I saw Vision come walking in with Detective Fury, no Stark, obviously staying behind the glass. I smiled at Vision.

"Hey, you okay?" He asked sitting next to me and I just shrugged.

"Handcuffed to a table and left in here...not great." I said, he groaned and looked at Fury.

"Can you unhandcuff my client please?" Vision asked.

Thank god John remembered my neighbors and that Vision was a lawyer.

Fury pulled the key from his pocket and unhooked my handcuffs. I rubbed my wrists and placed my hands in my lap.

"Now that your lawyer is here can we ask you some questions about the last time you saw Lemar?" Fury asked.

I looked at Vision and he half nodded.

"Well, a few days ago he came to the pumpkin patch, and I asked him to leave. With the past him and Olivia had I didn't need John seeing him -..."

"Past?" Fury asked and I sighed.

"Come on you know about Olivia and Lemar having an affair. I have told you and I knew John did when you questioned him on Olivia's disappearance." I snapped. Vision cleared his throat subtlety letting me now to calm down.

"Okay, what happened at the patch the other day?" Fury asked.

"He showed up, he threatened me and then left when I asked him to." I said.

"He threatened you?" Fury asked. "That make you angry?" Fury asked.

"Angry enough to murder?" I sarcastically asked.

"Don't be smart Autumn." Vision said.

"I mean I was more concerned than anything. Listen he just told me that I needed to be careful, he would hate for what happened to Olivia happen to me." I explained. Fury was writing down notes and then glanced back at the window which I knew meant Stark or someone was in there.

"What happened the next time you saw him?" Fury asked.

"I went to pick up food at the bar and grill and he was there. As I was waiting for my food, we struck up a conversation. I told him to stay away from the patch and how I didn't appreciate his threat. He told me it wasn't a threat it was a promise." I said and Fury sighed.

"Now the question being, did you see him after that?"

"He left right after I did, I saw him walk out but I headed home."

"Thing is Autumn, we have no proof of that. We think you followed him. We questioned Barton about Lemar being at the bar and grill. He said you two had an altercation." Fury said.

"I have more doorbell camera that you still have access to!" I screeched upset.

"We tried, it's offline. Which we find suspicious." Fury said and I threw myself back against the chair.
