Liu Bao Ru pondered on her own while Mu Qing told her these things, wondering what else she should know regarding another sect. If she thought of the kind of things she'd hear when the competition between the four great righteous sects was held, it seemed that they most often talked about the disciples instead of the sect itself.

This matter wasn't too surprising. Among the people of the same faction, who didn't have a rudimentary understanding of the sects at the same level? In the four great righteous sects, everyone knew for sure what kind of place the other three sects were.

As for the smaller sects ... while they might have never visited and their knowledge was certainly less detailed, they would still have heard of most of them and know a thing or two. Also, not knowing felt embarrassing so they wouldn't ask about them and just pretend to be familiar.

She couldn't vouch that the same would be true for the demonic faction but she could only hope for that. Anyway, it didn't seem like Mu Qing knew that much about this sect either so he couldn't teach her a lot. Well, even if he could, they probably wouldn't have the time to go over everything. After all, his discussion with Xi Ju Hai had already taken a long time. The disciples over there might be wondering when they would get back. If they stayed here any longer, it would only draw even more unwanted attention.

Overall, it didn't seem to make any sense to learn more than the general information about the sect. Also, if she knew more about the disciples, she could try to divert the topic. She had definitely seen some of the junior martial sisters do that: They'd simply wave their hands with a laugh and say 'Oh, isn't that boring to talk about? Why not speak about this instead?' and then they would suggest some gossip they were currently interested in.

She herself had never done this before but it didn't seem too difficult. Not to mention that she didn't have to copy the behavior exactly either. After all, she was masquerading as a demonic sect disciple. Why would she behave exactly as one from the righteous sects? No, it was actually better if there was a distinctive difference between what she had seen and how she did it.

Making up her mind, she looked at Mu Qing seriously. "Are there any notable disciples I should be aware of? Both current ones and ones from the past." Regarding this, she really couldn't miss any detail. She had to be able to draw up a vivid image with her words later on.

Mu Qing looked back at her with surprise but then figured that this was indeed an important question to consider. "Of course. It's actually good that you asked. The Yu She Sect has had a lot of notable female disciples.

"Their current Sect Master, Bi He, was the direct disciple of one of the Elders. One year, when the sects of the demonic faction came together for a mission, some disciples got into a fight. Bi He felt annoyed for them wasting everyone's time so she picked up her sword and broke up the fight by beating every single one of the disciples who had dared to make trouble.

"From then on, she was known among the whole demonic faction as somebody you'd better not cross. She was also the reason that the originally even more low-key Yu She Sect gained some renown. People paid attention to them a lot more and there were many expectations put on them when Bi He became the new Sect Master later on."

Liu Bao Ru hummed. "It doesn't seem like she did much with that though, does it?"

"True but that should be because she isn't interested in doing so. The sect is located at that kind of place. For one, it is certainly because that makes the sect grounds easier to defend. But two, it also means they are relatively unbothered by the rest of the world. I believe this is something she cherishes. At the very least, it would explain why only a handful of disciples from the sect were sent this time."

"So she wants the sect to stay out of sight if possible." Liu Bao Ru felt like she was indeed gaining a better understanding of this sect. In fact, thinking about this further ... it might be distrust from Bi He toward the other sects. At the same time, this was a way to allow their disciples an edge in dangerous situations. After all, if the others didn't know what you were capable of, you could use the moment of surprise for your gain. It wasn't a bad plan.

"Other than her, the first Elder of the sect is important. Her name is Zha Jia and she is Bi He's junior martial sister and it is said that they trained together. She should have gained a lot of insight from those spars. Of course, it is not all thanks to the Sect Master. I heard that Zha Jia is an especially hardworking person. She was originally one of the lower-ranked disciples but in just a few years' time, she made it to the top of her generation in the sect. This is why people kept her in mind even long afterward."

"What about the current generation?" Liu Bao Ru felt impressed with these two but while they were prominent figures of the sect, there likely wasn't much she could say about them. Also, the other disciples should be much more likely to ask after the current disciples. Of course, there was still the option to change the topic and speak about the Sect Master of her own volition. This kind of thing ... she only needed to think of how Yun Bei Fen was able to bring up Mei Chao Bing in every single conversation and she felt that she knew exactly how to do it: Just pretend to be a crazy fan.
