Chapter 22

Sophie:

I woke up on top of someone.

I blew out a breath of relief as I realised it was Keefe. But it was sucked back in again as I realised I hadn't told Grady and Edaline I was staying over.

Keefe moaned as I scrambled to get up. I pulled out my imparter, 10 missed calls. Oops.

"Sorry Keefe."

"Mhm hmm." He replied sleepy. I like sleepy Keefe, he's even cuter than normal Keefe.

I kiss his neck softly and he shivers.

"Are you leaving?"

"Do you want me to?" I reply innocently.

"No."

"I could stay for a bit."

I lean down to kiss him but lose my balance, falling on top of him.

He bursts out laughing at me clumsiness. "Dork."

I blush. "You're dating a dork, I'd be careful."

It only makes him laugh harder.

So I decide I'm going to make him shut up. I gently press my lips against his.

He happily kissed me back, I felt his tongue a little on my bottom lip.

I start to kiss him more intensely.
Quicker, more passionate. I've been craving this, I know he has too.

I move my hands along his chest and neck and start running them through his hair. His arms tighten around my waist, sending an electric jolt through my body. I bite his lip slightly, teasing him a little.

I pull away after a few minutes. We lay beside each other on the bed, just enjoying each others company.

He gets up eventually and makes his way to his table where he pulls out a bottle of youth. He opened it, taking a sip. "Do you want a drink?"

"Yes please." I was almost there when I tripped. I slammed right into Keefe, spilling the drink all over both of us.

We burst into hysterical laughter. When we finally calmed down I started to shiver, my shirt was soaked. "Where are your tunics?"

"Foster, your stealing more tunics from me?" He points to a wardrobe though "they're in there, can you please grab me one too?"

I picked out a navy blue one for him and a dark red one for me. I think he knows by now he's not going to get it back. I love stealing and wearing his tunics, they help me sleep when he doesn't stay over. And they smell like him, they're my comfort clothes.

I take off my tunic, throwing it on the floor and putting on his. I sigh happily as I pull his shirt over my head.

I can hear Keefe laughing at my reaction but I don't care.

I throw him the other shirt. He takes off his tunic and I can't help but stare.
My boyfriend is just hot. Undeniably hot.

His gorgeously carved muscles and abs were enough to make any girl swoon. So that's exactly what I'm doing.

He still hasn't put it on yet, not that I'm complaining. He smirking at me.

"You checking me out Foster." He teases.

I blush "no."

He takes a step closer. "When will you learn, you can't lie to an empath."

There's silence for a second.
"Can I touch you?"

He looks shocked and flustered by her strange question, but he nods.

I bring my hand slowly across his chest, down to his defined abs, tracing them with my fingers. I bring them back up to his broad shoulders, then along his strong arms. He seems relaxed at my touch, I like it, so I keep going. Tracing and retracing the movements.

The door opens. "Sophie! Why haven't you answered my hails!?"

I freeze. Grady and Edaline walk in the door, I can't even move.

"Why are you touching a shirtless boy?! And why are you wearing his tunic again?!"

I retract my hand from Keefe's body slowly.

"I tripped and spilled bottle of youth on us both so we had to change and then......" I trail off, how the hell do I finish that sentence?!

"Y'know what, I don't wanna know."

"Yeah. Sorry I didn't answer, we just fell asleep."

"It's......fine. But your still grounded young lady, we were worried."

They lapse into awkward silence.

"Do you and Elwin wanna come over later for dinner, Keefe?" Edaline asks.

"Yeah. That would be great, I'll ask him."

"Well we better get going. Your still grounded for a week though."

"Ok dad."
I sigh with relief when they're gone.

Keefe just smirks. "Are we gonna talk about what just happened Lady Fos Boss?"

I groan. "Shut up, idiot."

"I'm your favourite idiot though right?"

I grin at him. "Of course."
