Ch: 3

Howdy entered the church after witnessing all of that..he didn't know why he lied, but it was either life or death..
he closed the churches doors while he can still hear peoples cheering or loud talking coming from the field only 2 miles away from the town, his hands shook as he put them to his face and sighed shakily.

He walked to the alter and kneeled down onto his knees, he pulled out his rosary with his shaky hands and held it tight, he closed his eyes as he took a deep breath in.

"Forgive me Lord, for I have lied..may you have mercy on the poor girl who was put to death infront of my eyes...Help me to not lie. When I'm tempted to lie, help me to rely on your strength to tell the truth. Your power infuses me to conquer every difficulty... Lord, I ask that You bring conviction upon me for any areas where I have fallen into believing a lie. Show me these areas, and bring them to my mind" howdy said quietly, he stayed in that spot for a few more seconds before opening his eyes.

CRASH

Howdy gasped and dropped his rosary as he looked to the side of him, he saw a broken vase that was used to hold water, Howdy exhaled and he lifted himself off the ground to pick up the broken vase
