Ch: 14

Howdy knocked on Julie's door, she opened it, "Julie I made su-" howdy stoped when he saw sally on her bed, she was sleeping, howdy raised a brow and looked down at her, "is that sally?" Howdy asked, Julie's eyes widened and closed the door more, leaving only her face and neck to howdy, "wh-what were you saying howdy?" Julie said, howdy smiled "I came to tell you I made supper, would you mind if you helped me knock on the other father's and sister's doors?" Howdy asked "oh, I can do that, is that what I have been smelling? It smells delicious!" Julie said, she exited her room and went off to knock on the others doors, eager to eat howdy's food.

Howdy walked down the hall and toward Frank's room, he knocked, after a minute or two, the door opened to see Frank, his hair was a bit messy, "I came to tell you that supper is ready" howdy said, "oh, okay. I will be out in a moment" Frank said, howdy nodded his head and walked down the hall, as he entered the main area, he saw the other fathers and sisters walking out, "Julie is fast with her knocking." Howdy said, "I helped as well."

Howdy turned his head to see Wally, howdy brushed and smiled softly at him, "are you ready for some supper?" Howdy asked, "i can't eat right now." Wally said "oh? Why" howdy asked, wally looked at him with a uncomfortable look on his face "you don't have to tell me, I suppose that is a private thing, I won't bother you about it." Howdy said straining a smile again, "I'll tell you after supper." Wally said, howdy was about to say something.

Then.

"Wally, howdy!" Julie said startling howdy, "let's go eat!, I love when howdy cooks" Julie said to the both of them, then to Wally, she skipped off toward the main dining room, all of the fathers and sisters sat down, they all have gotten their own bowls, waiting for howdy to come in.

Howdy and Wally walked in, howdy pulled a seat from himself and sat down, Wally sat down next to howdy, "wally, since you are still new here, would you like to say a prayer before we eat?" Eddie asked. "Oh...uhm.." wally said, howdy noticed Wally getting a bit nervous, so howdy helped Wally out. "I will pray, Wally at the moment is pretty tired, he had a long day." Howdy said, Wally Looked at him still nervous, howdy didn't know why he was acting like this, shouldn't Wally fell relived he didn't have to say a prayer?

"Lord God, Heavenly Father, bless us and these Thy gifts which we receive from Thy bountiful goodness-" Howdy said closing his eyes, the others did as well and listened to howdy's prayer; "Lord through Jesus Christ, our Lord." Howdy continues, "bless the food, drink, and fellowship.." howdy said, howdy then heard a small crack, he opened one eye to see Wally looking down, shutting his eyes tight, he looked more down to see him clenching his uniform so tight, it could possibly rip the fabric. Howdy remembered one thing, and one thing only now.

He was a demon, he can't handle prayers.

"Father?" Sally asked with her eyes still closed, "oh, sorry........bless of Thy servants, for Thou art holy always, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen" howdy said a bit quietly now.

"Amen" everyone almost said at the same time, everyone opened their eyes and started to eat the soup, howdy looked at wally, he was still looking down, "Wally." Howdy whispered, Wally looked at howdy, his eyes were almost turning red and his hands had dark veins spreading across his skin. Howdy panicked, "calm down.." howdy whispered to him, almost to low to Wally to hear. "I am trying...but damn it howdy you said a prayer next to me.." Wally whispered back, howdy looked at the others; they were to fixated on the soup they didn't pay attention to Wally, or howdy.

Howdy placed his hand on Wally's, putting his thumb on Wally's knuckles and started caressing them gently, Wally quietly exhaled out of relief and held howdy's hand back.

After two or three minutes, howdy looked down, Wally's hand seemed to have faint, hallow, veins, not as much or as dark as before, his eyes were back to white as only a bit of the red was disappearing slowly.

"Are you okay now?." Howdy whispered, "I think....thank you howdy.." Wally whispered back, howdy smiled and tried to put his hand back, but Wally's grip on his hand went tighter, after a couple minutes a few people put their bowls on a small table, beside the dining room table and left to head back to their room's, after everyone left, howdy got up and stacked everyone's bowls, he was about to go wash them in the well.

"Howdy?" Wally asked, howdy turned around and faced Wally, he was getting up from the long wooden bench, "can I ask you a question?" He said, "of course," howdy replied, "why didn't you eat. I can tell you worked hard on the soup you made, why didn't you have some?" Wally asked walking toward him, "oh, well, I didn't really feel hungry, and i suppose..I just didn't want to eat, but why didn't you eat any-" "this is not about me. I said I would tell you later." Wally said, "alright.." howdy said, he turned around to go wash the bowls but Wally grabbed his arm and turned howdy toward him.

"Howdy. Tell me the truth, why didn't you eat" he said, "I told you already Wally..I wasn't hungry." Howdy replied. Wally looked straight into his eyes,

Wally let go of his arm, "alright..well, come to my room after your done washing those bowls, and bring a bowl of soup with you." Wally said, howdy nodded his head and turned around to go to the well.

Howdy came back inside, he placed the now washed bowls on the wooden dish rack. He grabbed one and went toward the fire place, he grabbed a long wooden spoon and pours some in the bowl, he got back up, and walked toward Wally's room.

He knocked on the door and waited for an answer, the door opened, "here." Howdy said, handing wally the bowl, "come in" wally said stepping out of the way for howdy, he walked inside of his room, "so may you show me?" Howdy asked, Wally nodded, howdy then felt Wally's hand grip his, and lead him to the bed.

Howdy sat on the surprisingly comfortable bed, it wasn't like any bed he has ever been on, Wally sat next to him, "are you sure you want to find out?" Wally asked, "of course.." he said hesitantly, Wally looked straight at me, he lowered his head down to the soup and brought it up to his face, howdy watched in confusion as Wally didn't take a sip of it, no. He brought it past his mouth and toward one of his eyes, howdy watched as Wally pours some some in his eye.

Wally lowered the bowl and looked at howdy, wally sighs quietly and put the bowl on the small wooden table beside him.
"Wally.." howdy said "I know. I know, you don't have to tell me, your freaked out.." Wally said not returning howdy's gaze. "No." Howdy said, Wally looked at howdy in contact, "what?" He asked "I am not freak out. I am more surprised than that. I have never seen anyone do that before...it's honestly...quite interesting, Wally I can never judge you on the way you eat...I can't judge you at All, there is nothing to judge." howdy replied, Wally felt his face get Hot, what is this mortal doing to Wally, he is making him soft...?

"I-....I am-..." Wally didn't know what to say, howdy chuckled, "Your what?" He asked, Wally looked at him for a moment.

Howdy then was pulled by his shirt collar.

"I am in love with you."

howdy's eyes widened and before he can say anything, he was pressed into a kiss with Wally, howdy immediately kissed him back and used his bottom arms to gently grab Wally's waist, howdy and wally pulled away for air.

"I...I love you too.." howdy said, wally smiled more and kissed howdy again, howdy and Wally went back and forth kissing.

....forgive him father. But he is in love.
