Ch: 20

[howdys p.o.v]

I was in the nave. I haven't seen Wally all day..I am kinda getting nervous.
'was he out hurting people?..no I shouldn't think that.'

I was reading the Bible while I was infront of many people. They were looking down as they prayed with me, "and Thy shall hold. We must continue to carry on our lives. As we fight our battles. And continue our battle with piece. amen" I said, I heard a few people say amen while the others said amen silently.

They all gotten up, and they started to leave the church, I closed the Bible and walked to Julie, I handed her the holy book and she took it to the place where we kept it.

"Hey howdy!" Barnaby said

I looked behind me to see him walking to me. I smiled back. "Hey barnaby, how was your day" I said, "quite boring. Oh, I was wondering if you'd like to hang out with me today" he said, "oh, sure, I have nothing left to do." I replied, he smiled more. "Great, I needed to go fetch some water from the well anyways. I am going to make supper for the church today." He said as he motioned me to follow him.

Me and him walked and talked, he talked the most while I listened to him. But..all I could really think about was Wally. What was he doing?

As we entered the woods, i saw the well, a few buckets by it resting against the leaves on the ground, barnaby tied the bucket he grabbed and lowered the bucket into the water. "So howdy.." barnaby said, "do you..like any one?" He said, I can feel blush spread across my face and I looked at him a bit confused by the 'out of the blue' question. "Oh...uhm..why do you ask?" I said, "I'm just curious" he said, a small grin growing on his face.

"I-..well, yes I do like someone. Even though I'm not really allowed to..y'know, being a priest an all.." I said as I thought of Wally, a smiled grew on my face as I put my hands behind my back.

"Who do you like?" He asked, I looked at him, he was using the handle and cranked the bucket from the water. "Oh..I am not telling you that barnaby." I said with a nervous chuckle, "is it Julie?" He asked, "no, of course not." I said. He then looked at me, he walked more closer to me.

A bit to close...

I had to look up at him. He was 8ft tall..while I was only 7ft..

"What does the person look like?" He said, "I- well..he..uhm.." I didn't know what to say. Should I tell him that Wally was the one that I loved?..

"Well..he ha-" I stoped.

He is kissing me?!

I put my hands on his chest and I tried to push him away, but he just pressed his body against me more. He put his hand on my face and deepened the kiss, I tried to move back but his other hand pushed me closer.

He pulled back from me and I caught my breath, I looked to the side.
