Ch: 13

It's been a couple weeks since Wally and howdy's last conversation, they've seen each other a couple time's but they either, look away from eachother or walk away, howdy didn't really mind, he needed time to think about what Wally said to him that night.

It was almost sun down and howdy was becoming a bit hungry after not really eating for a day or two.

Howdy and Julie were in the village, getting different foods For the church, howdy chuckled as Julie was talking about Sally, and not in a bad way, but in a nice way, she talked about how much they have been hanging out with each other and how much they have been getting close, howdy didn't mind hearing all of that.

"Howdy look!" Julie said, howdy raised a brow and looked at the direction she was pointing at, howdy's smile faded as he saw Wally looking at a few apples, examining them, "let's go say hello!" Julie said grabbing howdy's wrist and pulling him toward Wally "Julie I don't-" "hi Wally!" Julie said as she stood 5 feet away from him, Wally turned around and faced Julie, then looked at howdy, "hello." Wally said "I thought you'd be attending the church" Julie said "oh..well, I came to get a few things for myself..what are you, two, doing here?" Wally asked placing the apple inside the basket, "me and howdy were just walking around and talking about different various types of things-" Julie stoped and Gasped "they have my favorite Bread here!! I'll be right back howdy" Julie said not waisting time and walking over to one of the stands.

Howdy and Wally were silent, howdy could've walked away but he couldn't just leave Julie here all alone, it wouldn't be nice of him to do that. But Wally, why Was he staying?

"Howdy." Wally said, howdy looked at the smaller "Puppet" beside him "wally?" Howdy replied, Wally didn't look at him, "we need to have a Conversation when You get back to the church." Wally said, "is this another task.." howdy asked a bit scared "no. Not at all." Wally replied
"then-" "patient. Howdy." Wally said.

[back at the church-lazy]

Julie skipped inside the church, making sure to not fall over because of her uniform, howdy smiled and walked over to a large fireplace and placed the straw basket down beside it, he got on his knees and decided he should make supper for the sisters and fathers tonight.

"Howdy."

Howdy shivered to that voice and looked beside him, Wally placed his own basket beside howdy's and got on his knees as well, "what are you doing?" He asked, "I am going to make supper tonight for the fathers and sister's..it's the least I can do for them..after all, I am not really attending church as much as I used to, so they need a little break." Howdy said "and you have done this before?" Wally asked.

"Well of course, I have done this plenty of times." Howdy said, "Did someone teach you to do it this way?" Wally asked, howdy was quiet, he lifted the large pot off of the medal rod and placed it on the ground, "no." Howdy replied "then-" "would you mind if you go get a bucket of water from the well?.." howdy asked hesitantly, howdy knew it wasn't a good idea to make Wally do something..Wally looked at him for a moment before getting up and grabbing the bucket ontop do the fireplace, howdy was a bit surprised.

[2 minutes later]

Wally came back with the bucket of water and handed it to howdy, "thank you" howdy said, Wally didn't say anything, he just kneeled down again, howdy carefully dumped the water inside of the pot, he was about to get up for the flint snd steel but Wally touched his shoulder, howdy looked at him, he almost immediately took his hand back, "I will do it." Wally said looking away from howdy and at the wooden logs, Wally touched the logs, "what are-" howdy was interrupted by a fire almost blasting almost out of the fire place, howdy looked at wally's hand, it was being covered in fire, "careful!" Howdy said taking his hand out of the fire.
