Ch: 29

Howdy's Tears were falling down onto the cold stone floor, sharp chains were cutting him, two priests had the chains and were hitting him with it.

Howdy had cuts, bruises and wounds over his chest, arms, waist and legs, a few scratches on his face. And his hair was messed up because he was tackled earlier.

His priest uniform was ripped and a little torn from the chains and beatings. But he knew this wasn't even the worst part

The priest's came to a halt and howdy looked up and saw admonish "Take him to the Hill" admonish said. Howdy shook his head slowly, but the priest's forced him onto his feet. And again, the chains were now on his body, digging into his skin and breaking the tissue.

Howdy was pushed to make him walk, and howdy complied and walked out of the room where he was beaten. His eyes were just looking down at the ground, till he looked up and saw his friends..

Frank and Eddie were looking at howdy with a sorrowed expression. Sally and Julie were close to each other. While Julie was crying, poppy was hiding her beak in his feathers but he could tell poppy was crying. But barnaby looked at howdy, arms crossed, with a blank expression.

Howdy couldn't see them anymore, he exited the church and he saw the Town Puppets Shouted and made horrified and angry expressions at howdy.

Howdy continued to walk, and there it was, the Hill.

Howdy's heart was thumping widely against his chest, his Fear sky rocketing. People gathered around in a large circle around the stake. Howdy was pushed and chained on the stake Tightly. "People of the enclosure!, today this man, is being put to death, for not only the arts of the dark. But also being A sinner, Demon in a disguise hiding amongst the people for maybe generations!" Admonish said. And people were saying and shouting words  

'Kill the demon!' 'Put him in hell again!' 'Burn him!' 'Send him back to Hell!' 

Admonish raised his hand so the people would stop talking, "In the trail, one priest has claimed to have been Thrown into a tree, by a invisible force. He'd seen howdy covered in blood, being distant from his church duties, and howdy had failed to pled his innocence. other priests saw an Allie of howdy, killing 2 priests and 1 Nun. We still don't know where Father Wally is. But once we do, he will have the same fate as howdy!" Admonish said. And people cheered and shouted.

Admonish moved out of the way. And howdy Closed his eyes when he felt sharp rocks hitting his body. Some were very painful making him groan or just whimper in pain. People were shouting heinous  things at him. Cheering when howdy was clearly in pain. And the mother of Terrance. The child that was killed by his boyfriend, was throwing heavy stones and sharp objects at him.

Once the rocks were stopping and put into a final halt. Admonish motioned a nun and priest. The nun gave the priest the holy bible and she got out a small vial. Howdy was then sprinkled with holy water. As the priest was saying prayers.
