*TOM'S POV* (remember they're actually talking in german lol ***)
Present time.
"Tom?"
I momentarily break my eyes from the road to look over at Bill who sits in the passenger seat of my car, his arm propped up on the side of the door. "Mmm?" I reply.
***"Can we talk about what happened?" He asks, re-adjusting himself in his seat. I catch him raise a brow at me through my peripheral vision.
"What's there to talk about." I say quickly, drumming my fingers on the top of the black steering wheel. Bill gives me an obvious look that makes me purse my lips.
"You almost killed him." Bill hides the smile growing on his lips by lifting the back of his hand under his nose. Despite the smile, can hear the disbelief lying beneath his tone. "Why?"
"What do you mean why, Bill?" I find it difficult to understand why he'd ask such a question. "He was causing us trouble and I don't like how he treated you. The fucker swung at you, more than once, by the way. Even after I warned him. He's got some balls to do that." I tell him.
Bill chuckles at that, nodding slowly in agreement as he props one of his legs up on the carseat. I glance over at him. "I wasn't actually going to kill him you know." I say nonchalantly. I bring my hand to the stereo and begin tampering with the music.
It was true. I had no intention of killing him, I just wanted to scare him to ensure he wouldn't cross us again. And it worked. His fearful expression was priceless. I smirk to myself as the image replays in my head. The bastard had it coming. His face was almost as pathetic as his reasoning for resenting my brother.
Over some girl? Get a fucking grip.
"We have a reputation to uphold. I wanted him to think I was going to, the last thing we need is some idiot ruining that reputation."
"Yeah, I know." Bill says. "Just for a second I thought you were actually gonna shoot him. You cut it close."
I nod. "It was kinda funny seeing that girl beg like that, though." The words leave my mouth in a slight laugh as I run my tongue over my piercing.
"I thought it was hot." Bill casually shrugs as he examines the rings adorning his fingers. A subtle, nonchalant downturn of his lips forms before he smirks knowingly. He looks over to me suppressing his laugh. I begin to do the same.
We look at each other momentarily before laughing and I slap my hand down onto the steering wheel.
I sigh before saying, "What's your interest with her anyway? You want to sleep with her?"
Bill thinks for a moment before answering. "I mean, yeah." he laughs. "But she's my style, you know?"
I nod, drumming my hand on my lap to the beat of the music. "So, what actually happened last night?" I ask him. "Tell me why you asked me to go to Ashton's apartment while hungover this morning."
Bill laughs, putting a hand on his forehead as if this whole situation is driving him crazy. "Well.." He starts, his voice muffled as he drags a hand down his face. "While you were busy getting fucked, Georg and I had to deal with that dipshit, Noah."
I grin at his comment, thankful not having been there to witness what went down. I look out my window as Bill continues to talk, the car beside me catching my attention. I see the inhabitant within it stare at me with wide eyes. I give him a two fingered salute as an innocent smile plays at my lips. His head whips away from me and he cowers back into his seat.
I can't help but enjoy the way people react to my presence that way. It's better for my reputation.
"I've got no fucking clue why Noah was at Zimmer 483 with her in the first place. Almost like he was asking for a fight." Bill continues. I listen attentively as the lights transition to green and I accelerate once more. "I mean, I'm not complaining on her behalf, I quite like her. But her boy follows her like a dog wherever she goes. I can't get a minute alone with her."
