Out of the hundreds of people here, it had to be one of them. I stare up at him feeling frozen in place. Bill Kaulitz. I slowly swallow the remnants of my food as he stares down at me, an unreadable look on his face. He's holding a phone up to his ear, before he says something in what sounds like German to the person on the other line and hangs up. I catch a glimpse of his nails that are painted inky black.
Roxy grabs my arm and I feel her stiffen beside me. He is definitely more intimidating up close. And extremely tall. And gorgeous.
"I-I'm sorry, I--" I stutter. I mentally slap myself for not being able to form a proper sentence. What are the odds that I bumped into Bill Kaulitz?
Bill raises an eyebrow, looking me up and down. "Just watch where you're going." He says neutrally, his German accent prominent.
I'm surprised by his lack of impatience with me. Although his response wasn't entirely friendly, it was not at all what I expected from him. His dark, painted eyes shift over to Roxy and linger on her. I watch as her cheeks flush and her eyes meet the ground, avoiding his strong gaze at all costs.
Bill opens his mouth as if to say something when suddenly a pair of arms wrap around Roxy's waist. "Everything good over here?" It's Noah. I release a breath I didn't realise I was holding as Nick and Ashton follow close behind and come up next to me.
"Noah, Ashton." Bill nods. "Yes, everything is perfect." he remarks, smiling maliciously. His feline eyes not bothering to meet Noah's as they are still locked on Roxy. "What's your name?" He asks, completely disregarding Noah's protective arms wrapped around her.
"That's none of your concern, Kaulitz." Noah snaps. Bill finally looks at Noah, his brows raised, and a downward smirk playing on his lips. He's clearly shocked to be spoken to in such a tone. I'm also shocked Noah had the nerve to do so considering what he just told us about them.
There is a beat of silence before he answers. "I'm making it my concern." Bill quips, taking a step forward. His tone is cool yet demanding as he stares expectantly down at Roxy and tilts his head slightly, awaiting her answer. Roxy's bottom lip is tucked in between her teeth, her eyes still refusing to meet his gaze.
She turns to Noah before talking. "I'm perfectly capable of speaking for myself." Despite her calm voice, I can sense her evident nerves. She removes Noah's arm from her waist, stepping forward slightly in a cautious manner, Bill smirks triumphantly.
She finally looks up at him. "I'm Roxy."
I stand there in disbelief as Bill holds out a hand, smiling. Beside me, I hear Ashton scoff.
"Nice to meet you, Roxy." He says. Roxy's expression is unsure as she slowly extends her hand to meet Bill's. Noah steps forward, clearly irritated by the interaction. He pushes down Bill's hand. "That's enough, Kaulitz."
"Don't touch me." Bill scowls, wiping his hand on his shirt as if Noah's touch was infectious, the rings on his fingers glisten from the city lights. I struggle to suppress my grin as Bill looks in my direction.
"Don't touch my girl." Noah spits back, stepping in front of Roxy.
Bill laughs, obviously amused by the situation. "Ja? And what are you gonna do about it, baldy?" Nick and I both laugh out loud at that comment and in return receive a glare from Ashton.
Noah suddenly steps forward and reaches out, roughly shoving Bill backwards. Roxy gasps and takes a couple of steps away. I look around and just as I expected, people are beginning to turn their attention towards us.
Gasps are heard from all around. The kind of gasps that translate to: Did he seriously just push one of the Kaulitz brothers?
"Noah, chill out." Ashton warns, shooting a look at his friend, as if telling him not to go there. Bill scoffs in disbelief. He slowly shakes his head at Noah in a provoking manner whilst raising his eyebrows. He advances towards him with harmful intent in his scowling eyes, the corners of his mouth curling down.
