(13.2) Elves that are not cute

It was another 4 days in the gate, so a total of 5 hours in the outside world. Izuku continued to do his exercises and train Hae-In for that time. They did cross across 5 more bears but Izuku wanted to save some shadow spaces so he didn't turn them into his shadow army. Hae-In actually defeated 2 on her own which she was happy about.

But now, "How about you guys undo your stealth? Due to your powerful energy, hiding is pointless."

"Those.. Those are!" Hae-In stummered.

"... What a chilling energy." Izuku muttered.

"Ice elves, and with those numbers too." Hae-In continued.

Tall elven figures with blue skin and white hair. The boss was riding on his white horse. "There really was one, a strong guy among the trash." the boss said.

"What? Did you call us trash?"

".....? You know our language?" The boss asked suprised.

'I understand them?' Izuku thought.

"Can you also speak with monsters?" His partner asked suprised.

"To able to converse... How splendid. There's someone I want to introduce." An elf with straight white hair came next to the leader with a smirk. "You're already acquaintances, he's the one who notified us that there's somone strong amoung the ones that came here. This guy wanted to face off with you so..." But the next second that guys head was off, cut off with Izuku's dagger.

'I really need to get a new dagger.' turning back to look at the elves, "Anything else to say?"

"...." Then a full on creepy grin that Orochimaru would be jealous off came onto the bosses face, "You're an amusing guy."

Izuku then rushed at the leader but the leader blocked his slash with his own dagger. "I have a proposal." He said whilst twirling his dagger around, "It won't be detrimental to you. But first left me ask you a question. Despite not being a human, why are you among the humans?"

"What the hell are you talking about?" Izuku asked.

"HAHA, are you not aware of it? In our heads, there's a constant voice speaking to us. 'To kill humans', but I cannot hear the voice in your presence."

'A voice telling them to kill humans? It sounds similar to the system's orders.' Then Izuku widened his eyes, 'Then this system and the gates are not my quirk. It is acting like a quirk but the gates are their own world. But it could be that I am a player?'

"There is no need for us to fight, we do not want unnecessary casualties in our end. Hand over the human behind you. Then I'll spare your life, how about it?"

With a glare that wasn't using any skills, Izuku asked "Let me ask you a question as well. Who are you guys? Where did you come from and why are you trying to kill humans?"

"We are..." Then the Hyakki began to fuzz out as it wasn't allowed to say moer, "There is no need for us to fight. We do not want unnecessary casualties on our end. Hand over the human behind you, then I'll spare your life."

'What? Just now... Is he avoiding my question or..."

"So how about it, do you accept our proposal?" A lot of evil smirks where seen on the army of ice elves when the leader asked the question.

"I refuse."

"Do you plan of fighting me and my soldiers? Do you think you withstand our numbers by yourself? There are 35 of us and 1 of you."

"Numbers? You are the second being that said the same thing? What numbers?" 'Come forth' Then behind Izuku all of his 82 shadows stood up from the shadow with bears and Beast roaring. "Those numbers" Izuku smirked.
