Yesterday, after they finished coloring my hair, I thanked the very unusual but very kind group of people and went back to my Tolux clothing before I headed back to my temporary house.

After spending time with them, I understood why Credia had such a good reputation. Most of the people here were actually really nice.

No boundaries... but nice.

They perfected my hair to a brown tint that looked very natural. It made me more confident about this mission.

I've done a few missions in the past but never like this.

Last night was my last night in Credia before I left. I felt like I got the amount of sleep I needed for the long trip. Malin arranged a carriage for me to get to Gona. It wasn't luxurious by any means. It was a simple carriage with a single horse that I would be driving.

I need to start acting like an impoverished maid who relies on this job for food and water and not someone who's getting paid by the Dark Royal with a hidden bag of gold coins at my disposal.

I am not wearing my usual Trolux clothing. I wasn't covered from head to toe anymore. Instead, I was wearing the universal clothing for servants. A loose white shirt and brown loose breeches that reached my ankles and finished with an old pair of brown boots.

I went to the riding area where all the carriages were located. The ground turned from stone to gravel as I got closer.

Most of the carriages that were parked were Royal carriages with curtains and wooden accents while some were carriages for carrying produce by farmers. I went to the last one that looked so run down that I doubted it would take me to Gona in one piece.

It looked more like a wagon than a carriage.

"I know it looks like shit but it's the best we can do to make you as believable as possible," I turned to the voice and saw Malin walking with Natalia on her arm. They recognized me instantly even though I wasn't in my usual clothing. Maybe it was my eyes, it was very light gray and easy to remember just like my white hair.

"It's perfect, I just hope I don't break a wheel going there," I replied.

Malin smiled, "Don't worry, I put a spare wheel on the back in case this one breaks," She kicked the wooden wheel that looked a little wobbly and then walked toward me, "Also, I found a way to communicate with you from Vitalis," she smiled and adjusted her eyepatch.

She whistled and a black pigeon with a tinge of purple on its neck flew down and landed on Malin's shoulder, "This is Robin, and he will be your new best friend," she said and gently urged Robin to fly to me instead and his tiny feet shuffled on my shoulder.

"He is a very smart carrier pigeon. Robin is trained to carry messages and he's very good at flying very high and navigating through difficult terrains," Malin petted Robin's head gently, "He always knows how to get home to Vitalis from anywhere for miles."

I turned to look at Robin as he tilted his tiny head staring at me with his orange eyes.

Natalia passed a canvas bag to Malin, "Oh, I almost forgot. This will be half of the money we agreed on." he said and passed it to me.

I took the canvas bag and pulled the string to open it. I peeked inside to see the gold coins shine from the sun's glare.

This is actual gold. My heart pounded in excitement as I got closer to my dream ship but I didn't let a single expression slip out.

I tied the bag up again and nodded, "Great. I should go." I said and then gently put Robin on the bench of the wagon so he could stay beside me when I drove.
