I didn't even realize I had fallen a sleep until the next morning when I woke up to the sound my phone going off like someone was dying but no it was jsut navya telling me to reach the set manik was on instead of coming to the firm first
I had a massive headache already and walking into this set or whatever this thing is was already making me nauseous, not because how crowded and noisy it was but because I could feel him around somewhere
Maybe I didn't feel him but I think it's the fact that I knew he was around, it's so weird to feel this feeling because I have never felt it, but also I have never met any celebrity before either so thats that
"Oh my god, enough with the coffeee" Cabir says grabbing it from me
"GIVE IT BACK OR I KILL YOU IN YOUR SLEEP" I threaten him
I am not trying to be scary but im fidgety and nervous so coffee
"Jesus Christ girl, okay yea take it back" he mumbles giving the coffee back
"Thanks"
"Go on and look at how horrendous veebha looks today" he says walking with me
"I don't know if I mhm if I can deal with them today"
"Oh no nandini they are wearing hot pink shoes, fucking hot pink" I sort hearing him, the coffee in my mouth was now coming out of my mouth and nose
"Are you okay?" I hear a voice I'd recognize even in my sleep
hearing that voice made me start coughing louder and then I started coking like not mild, really really bad.
"Jesus, get me a water please"
I shake my heard trying to breath but I couldn't because the man I have created sceneries about, the man I have had the fattest crush on was standing right there watching me snort fucking snog and boogers out of my nose
Not to mention, the coffee that came out of my mouth and nose was all over my white, yes white flowy top. Fucking kill me, I am begging someone to just hit me with their cars, yes multiple cars
"Calm down silly girl" I hear Cabir
"I will kill you" I blurt out in between choking whihc only caused him to laugh, he was laughing
"Here sip on this" his melodic voice, ahh someone hit me now
i grabbed the water and as I sipped on some I couldn't help but be completely freaked out
"Are you okay?" He asks, his voice so sweet but filled with concern
"Im okay" I whisper catching my breath
"You sure? Did you wanna sit?" He asks
I look up in his eyes, which obviously was the wrong move because I couldn't take my eyes off him, I literally couldn't.
His eyes are so much more beautiful and that dullness was enchanted somehow. Honestly pictures don't really do him any justice like absolutely not. He is gorgeous, drop dead gorgeous
"Nandini stop staring at him" Cabir makes it clear making me pull my eyes away from him
"Im so sorry" I whisper walking, no running yes I full on bolted to the very back where everyone else was
"Are you okay?" Navya asks
"No im dying, I need you to kill me, hit me with your car or something" I ramble
"What wrong?"
"Manik, manik malhotra talked to me and he gave me water even asked if im okay"
"I am not seeing a problem"
"You blind woman, I chocked on my coffee and it spilled all over me in front of himmmm"
she laughs, she god damn starts lauhging at me, she is so annoying sometimes
"It's fine, he"
"no it is not fine, the man who I could have ever had a chance in my dreams is gone, you know I think he won't even come in my dreams anymore, fucks sake"
"On air in 5" I hear the announcement and right away I grab the questions and my pencil standing behind the scenes
"We are on air with mr manik malhotra, the heartthrob of India" veebha says
" cut the seductive act, it's fucking annoying" I mumble in her headset
I could see her head shift a bit before she cuts it out, she knows I am very professional when it comes to work and there are times she pulls these fucking stunts so I have to tell her to cut it out
"So manik tell us about yourself" she asks
"Wow, mhm okay yeah I never really get asked that but not many know but im originally form Pune Maharashtra, its my home. Any time I have a couple days off from recordings or shoots you'll fine me back home" I smile hearing him
As he goes on I couldn't help but smile, I was grinning ear to ear hearing him. He doesn't have any attitude, there is no arrogance, he is so humble and down to earth.
Once the interview ends, he lets everyone know there is food for the whole cast and crew that were there.
"Hey veebha right?" i hear him ask because she still had the headset on
"Yes" she says seductively
"Did you make these questions?" He asks her
"No"
"Then who did?" He asked
"Nandini did, she is the head and she comes with the questions and everything" I could tell she was saying all that because she thought he didn't like the questions
"Nandini" he mumbles and my heart
I can't believe he said my name, ahhhhhhh he said my name, the manik malhotra said my name
"Yes nandini, the girl with the white blouse, she had spilled coffee on herself" shit that embarrassing
"Right, okay. Do you know where I can find her?"
That was it, I took the headsets off and grabbed my stuff.
"Woah, where are you going?" Navya asks seeing me so hassled
"Mhm home I need to leave, I'm already so overwhelmed with everything so I have to go now, like right now. You have an amazing evening and have fun, bye navya"I ramble on right before giving her a hug
I didn't even wait, literally hugged her and Cabir who I saw on the way out and took a cab home because there is no way that I am having another conversation or encounter with the most beautiful human specimen
"Ahhhhh oh my godddddd" I scream getting home as soon as I registered everything
Manik malhotra, and no not just any manik malhotra, but the manik malhotra, the singer, he gave me water and asked if I was okay. I mean come on he likes me right ahh no he doesn't
"Nandini get your shit together he doesn't like you, he barely even knows who you are, I mean come on you made a scene on his turf and then you told Cabir you'd kill him when he was helping. Oh and that's not all, there is more, god you even spilled stuff on you, all of it so shut up, he does not like you" I ramble on as I go on with my chores more like cleaning
Why am I like this? I mean come on why do I get so anxious and nervous about him even though I don't know him personally, except I do know where he lives kind of I guess, yes call me a creepy little stalker
About his house, yeah, he lives like 15 minutes away from me, yes 15 god damn minutes so if I start walking or driving I could reach his house which is freaky
