Manik's pov

I cannot believe I asked Nandini out on a date, when I tell you I was shitting bricks when I even brought it up, I mean I was dying inside, but the hold she has on me is way more powerful.

I remember that morning when I was walking into set and this girl was chocking, coffee spilled all over her white blouse, when I got her some water, she looks at her best friend yelling at him

It was hilarious to see that she was chocking so bad yet she told him she would kill him, it was so funny to me. I also couldn't deny the fact that her cheeks had tinted red when I rubbed her back a little

She was so nervous that first day when she walked into set but the way she was so professional despite navya nad Cabir telling me she has a crush on me. Not once did she ask for a picture or anything, she was quietly doing her work

It was weird because the next week I was so much calmer when she was around, the music video shoot went perfect, the recordings were great.

When I showed up at her house she fed me and even told me to drive safe, she was so sweet and I remember thinking that I wanted to go our with her. I wanted to ask her out on a date because gosh she is different

"Manikkkk tell me what you are hiding" arun asks for the 10th time today

"Nothing dude"

"liar, you have been smiling so much and the anxiety meds aren't even half empty"

"Mhm I asked nandini out on a date" I whisepr

"YOU DID WHAT?" He screams

"Shut the fuck up bro, you are so loud"

"You asked her out? When? Dude thats such a god news"

"Stop, im nervous as fuck"

"and thats not to say you don't look at her like you love her either because you look at her like she is"

I breath better with her around me

"I don't know how to act on dates, I"

"Just be yourself, she loves that"

"Okay im going to go, ill see you later" I whisper

"bye" he says leaving

I got in my car and headed home, I passed her house on the way and the way my stomach churns seeing her car home was unbelievable

I got ready in a white shirt and black jeans, I had already got her some flowers on the way home. I also cleaned out betsy before I drove to her house.

I felt so nervous and ahhh I don't even know how to explain it but finally I rang the doorbell, I heard some shuffling and then the door opens.

When I tell you my jaw drops seeing her, I mean I have to collect it from the floor. She stood there in a white blouse and black skinny jeans as well which was so weird because we didn't plan this outfit together

"Jeez we match" she giggles

"We do" I whisper

her eyes twinkle looking at me making me smile

"You are so beautiful you know" I whisper handing the roses

"No but thank you, these are gorgeous" she says smelling the roses
