Chapter 12

Nandini's pov

The doorbell rings a few times making me groan in my pillows not wanting to get up but when it doesn't stop I got up walking to the door.

i open the door to see Manik standing there in grey sweats and a black t shirt with a gorgeous smile on his face

"Good morning" he says kissing my head

Sighing I lean on his chest, his arms wrap around me making me smile.

"Sleepy?" He asks kissing my head

"Yes very, can we sleep?" I ask

"Sure" he whispers

He picks me up in his arms and I had already checked out, my eyes were closed and I leaned into his chest holding his t shirt

It's been a whole month of us going out on dates whenever we have time which hasn't been so frequently but he does come over to say hi or goodnight when he has late night shoots

Our first date was the amusement park, second was just us laying in bed watching movies all night the day after out first date and then we have had one date a week since then.

"What time did you go to bed?" He asks sitting in bed with me

I crawl up his chest, laying my head on his shoulder as he leans back in bed

"Like 3, I had so much to edit but I got it done so I have today off to be with you" I whisper

"I told you to sleep on time didn't I?" He asks kissing my hair

"Yes you did but do I listen?" i ask

"No, no you don't" he replies making me giggle

"Nandini" I hum in his arms

Cuddling, hugging, small kisses had became normal between us

"I have to go out of town for a few days" he whispers

"When? Why?" I ask looking up

"I have to go home for a day or two" he tells me

"Pune?" I ask

"Yes"

"Okay mhm when will you be back?"

"Hopefully before 48 hours but I can't say anything right now"

"Is everything okay back at home?" I ask

"Yeah, i just haven't been there in a while"

"Okay" I say placing my head down on his chest

I am going to miss him, I mean we have spent about 4 to 5 months together, so not having him around would be so weird.

"I wanted to wish you a good morning and tell you how much you mean to me before I leave"

"Are you leaving right now?" I ask

"In about 30 minutes" he says

I sit up beside him looking at him

"Mani thats so soon" I whisper fidgeting with my fingers

"I know pretty girl" he was just as sad as I was

"I will miss you so much" I mumble

"I will too, Nandini I want you to know, you mean the world to me and I don't even how hard these couple days will be but I promise to call"

"You will come back to me?" I ask for some odd reason

"Of course I will, Nandini you are the only person I can come back to so yes I will be back before you know it"
