My doorbell rings making me groan, I am not looking forward to anyone coming home because seriously I am so anxious still, it's probably the 3 coffee's I already had
Opening the door I find navya and Cabir, a grin on both their faces for some odd reason and im thinking it's not great because their grins mean I am about to be thrown into something I don't want
"Yes" I mumble giving them water
"Soooo"
"Navya no, if you did something I will kill you"
"Well listen to it first because I think it's amazing"
"What is?" I ask
"Well after you let we were having a conversation with manik and the idea of following him around on one of his concerts or shoots came up"
"Woah, that actually so cool because I don't think he has ever done anything like that before" I mumble
"Yup and he said he is open to both a behind the scenes of one of his shots like behind his music videos and stuff since he has one coming up and he is also having a concert"
"It's not a concert mhm more like a charity even he is sining a couple songs for on November 29th at the big arena so in 15 days" I murmur without thinking
when I didn't hear anything I look up to find them both smirking
"What?"
"oh im not in love with him blah blah blah you fucking liar" she mocks my voice making me glare at her
"You are disgusting human being"
"Besides the point, we agreed on both" she says
"Okay?"
"He wants you to be the one doing the interviews and following him around" she says
"Oh hell no, what do you mean he wants me to do it?" I ask
"He asked about the line of questions from veebha and then when him and we were talking he asked if you could be the one in front instead of behind the whole thing and I agreed"
"Why would you do that? Navya you know how nauseous I get"
"He is just a human being, you have a big crush on him and he seemed to be looking for you anyways so cut it sweetie and just do this for me. You know I hate sending veebha and that alia for such things, they will try hooking up with him"
"I understand navu but you do understand that I can't even form sentences in front of him, I practically ran away from him this morning and then in the evening when everything was done. How will I do that?" I ask
"you will plus it's not too bad, he isn't a cocky person, he is so nice and humble"
"Arghhh no"
"Nandini sweetheart, he is so nice, almost a friend so it's okay, if anything happens you talk to me and ill help okay" cabir mumbles
"Okay fine but what is it that I need to do?" I ask
These two humans grab my arms making me sit, them beside me on either side.
"For a week you will be with him for his music video shoot, starting tomorrow morning, he gave me at the address and I gave him your number so that"
"YOU DID WHAT?" I scream
"Just your number, calm down. He needs to know who is going to be around him for a bit. Oh and he said it's fine like the dresscode or whatever"
"Navya"
"You just need to note things he does, little things he shares, kind of like a behind the scene" she explains and I nodded
I mean it's work so I will do it but it is hard
"Mhm he won't know right?" I ask
'Know that you have a massive crush on him, no no he won't"
"Stop please" I whisper
"You will be okay, plus if you and him fall for each other"
"Never going to happen" I mumble
"Oh it might and im betting my leg for you two" cabir says
"Ill take both your left leg and arm" I say glaring
"It will be okay, and we are both staying over"
"Ohh sleepover"I giggle
"Yes kiddo sleepover" cabir mumbles
I love sleepovers with them both, we watch movies and then we have popcorn hehe it's super fun
The whole night I was anxious but it was fun being with them, it calmed me down a lot.
It was around 2 in the morning when navya and cabir fell a sleep in the guest room so I got away from between them and went into my room. I grabbed my phone from the charging outlet and laid in bed
I got a couple texts from a number so I opened it and when I tell you I almost shit my pants and cried at the same time.
'Hi, it's manik, from set today' his text said
'I know this looks weird but I mhm never mind, navya gave me your number because you and I will be working together' a couple minutes later
Oh my word, this man jsut texted me, he is so sweet and humble. I mean come on, he is so humble and he didn't even need to text me but he did
'Hi, im sorry I didn't have my phone on me' I reply after calming down
'All good, I just wanted to talk to for a second'
what does he wanna talk about? This is so weird, my stomach is flooding with butterflies jsut at the texts
'Of course'
As soon as I sent that text my phone rings making me jump a little at his number displaying on my screen.
"Am I dreaming?" I mumble
"Ahhh fuckkk" I scream a little when I pinched my skin in between my fingers jsut to see if I was dreaming
i take a huge breath and pick up the phone.
He didn't say anything and neither did I for a couple seconds, but I knew he was on the other side because I heard him breathing and let me tell you its so creepy to say this but I felt like he was so close to me
Those butterflies and the anxiousness was back. My heart was thumping so loud.
"Hello" he mumbles
Jesus, even his voice is sexy
"Hi" I whisper
"I am so sorry for calling so late and it may seem creepy and weird but I just wanted to thank you Nandini" my stomach flips hearing him call m name
"Mhm thank you for what?" I ask
"For that line of question, there wasn't a single question that was about my private life or being intrusive"
"I know how difficult it is to be in the limelight all the time and being asked these very very personal questions"
"Thank you and I'm so sorry for calling so late"
"It's okay, there is no reason to be sorry. This isn't creepy or weird" I couldn't help but smile
"Well I will see you in the morning tomorrow on set" he mumbles
"Of course, mhm yeah. Goodnight" I whisper
"Night Nandini" he mumbles before he cuts the call
oh my goddddddd
I jumped out of bed running into the guest room, I jumped on the bed making them both wake up
"Ahh are you okay" cabir asks jumping up as well
"Manik called to say thank you and I oh my godddd manik amphora just called me" I scream
"Jesus fuck man, I thought you were dying" navya says laying back down
"Ahhhh oh my godddd" I scream running back into my room
