"Hi Arun whats going on dude?" I mumble since the phone was on speaker
"Whats going on? Are you fucking stupid? You leave from here sulking like you lost your god damn betsy and then you phone goes off, what the hell is with you?"
"Im sorry, I think my phone is dead" I mumble trying to grab it from my pocket
"Asshole, I almost got the cops involved" I chuckle hearing him
"Stop it, you know if you can't find me at home or with you"
"I already know but I wasn't sure if she forgave your dumb ass yet, she shouldn't" Nandini giggles hearing him
"She should torture you and take betsy away" I smile hearing him
Only if he knew betsy means a lot to be but fuck, nothing can top Nandini, she is my gem
"Shut it, ill text you later once m phone is charged"
"Okay, bye" I cut the call and place my phone on the couch along with hers
"So" I mumble
"Mani" she whispers, her eyes on her fingers making weird knots with the my t shirt

"Have you ever felt this peace, like you know when after a very tired day you come home and shower getting in comfy clothes with a bowl of your comfort meal in your lap and a nice tv show playing" I nod
"Or when the waves hit the shore after a long tide, mhm similar to the sun shining form beneath the clouds after a long week of rain"
The way she describes everything is so pure and so affectionate, something I haven't ever experiences. Her voice is calming and it makes me happy
People ask about love, and how you know what it feels like, honestly I don't know what it feels like but the fact that just her voice can make me happy and her smile can make me do almost anything.
"Yes I know waht you mean" I whisper
"I used to see that in my parents, my dad would come home from working in the sun all day and mom would always crack jokes and comfort him in ways I can't describe. the way his face would break out in smiles or fits of laughter being with her was so pleasant to see" I smile sadly at her
"Is that what you want one day?" I ask being hesitant
"I do, I feel like being with you reminds me of that peace"
This was huge, the compliment was so big for me
"Really?" I ask
"Yes" she whispers leaning onto my face
Her head rested again my lips making me smile as I peck her head a few times.
"Come on, ill make you something yummy" I tell her kissing her cheeks
"What will you make me?" She asks
"Mhm what do you want to have?"
"Anything, argh I haven't stepped foot in the kitchen without thinking about you so it's kinda nice having you here"
It was messed up that I did that to her.
"I won't ever go away, it was stupid but I don't repeat my mistakes"
"Damn right silly boy" she mumbles kissing my cheeks
It wasn't just one kiss, she was prepping my face with tons of kisses making me laugh, it reminded me of a baby kissing my face at of one my concerts haha it's so cute
