It’s been two days since I last talked to Eirie and I’m glad I have a couple of days to get my head straight. What was the purpose of doing this? Did he get some kind of kick out of play with girls’ emotions or did he really have a reason behind everything that was going on. I laid back on my pillow top mattress and surround myself in the white sheets that covered it, they felt like clouds and smelled like heaven having a calming effect on my fanatical way of thinking. I felt a buzz beside my hand picking my phone up and scanning over the caller id I realized it was Tawny, I picked up after the fourth ring.
“Why haven’t you been answering your phone? I’ve been trying to reach you since Thursday!” Tawny screamed through the phone.
“Sorry, I was just busy with the dojo and stuff,” I lied slightly I was at the dojo for the past two days but it didn’t keep me that busy. I at least had two hours to spare for a call but I just knew what she was going to ask and I can’t lie to her about stuff like this, she can always tell. Besides I wasn’t even sure for myself what had happened so what was I supposed to tell her.
“Did something happen at Eirie’s house?”
“No.”
“Lair.” I sighed into my end of the phone
“If I tell you this promise not to freak out,”
“Girl scouts honor,” I could imagine her holding up her fingers the way we would as children.
“Well I know about that Valerie girl you guys were talking about, well at least sort of.”
“Well spill! Is he dating her or what?”
“Um… he’s seeing her but he says she doesn’t interest him what so ever, I was bit confused.”
“Hmm, did anything else happen?” I was silent for a moment before I answered I took a shaky breath.
“He kissed my neck…” There was more silence over the phone then she drew in a big breath.
“He what? Maybe he isn’t telling you the real truth about his relationship with Valerie because he’s after you to.”
“Do you know how stupid that sounds?”
“It’s true! I mean he did interject between you and Jesse, which has to mean something!”
“You watch too much TV.” I said blankly
“Whatever I still think he wants you,”
“He wants something alright and you can trust I’m going to find out what it is,” I added determined.
“Well just look between your legs and you’ve found it.”
“TAWNY!”
“What I’m just stating the obvious,” how could she try to act innocent while saying something like that.
“Look tonight’s our family night so I should probably get going.”
“Alright, but what are you going to do about Jesse?” That was a good question and I hadn’t even thought about it yet.
“I don’t know honestly, hopefully I won’t see him until next week.”
“Something gives me the feeling that’s not going to happen,”
“Well we’ll hope it does now I really got to go, I’ll text you after the movie.”
“K, see ya.” Then the phone line went dead. I took all the information in from the call and tried to put it to good use in my head but al it did was confuse me more. I sighed and placed my phone down on my desk before I went down stairs. I opened my door and headed down the hall only to run into Jordan.
