Wedding Week!

Chapter 5: A Pleasant Surprise

3rd Person P.O.V.

When Sonic woke up, he was in his bed. Shadow was nowhere in sight. He slowly rose, and rubbed the gunk out of his eyes. Only when he got out of the bed did he realize he was stripped, and that he was perfectly clean despite last night's event. He looked towards the ground, but his clothes weren't there.

He slowly got up, and strode to his closet. He pulled out a plain dark blue sweater, and some black leggings. It seemed casual enough to him. He made his way downstairs, and yawned. His brother Tails, looked in his direction, and smiled.

"Sonic! You're finally awake!" The two-tailed fox got up to greet his brother.

"Morning Tails..." Sonic yawned once again, still slightly sleepy. He caught sight of Amy, Knuckles, and Silver in his living room, huddled in a small group and talking rapidly to one another.

"What's going on?" Sonic asked, and walked closer so he could see what his friends were up to. Amy whipped her head around and smiled at him.

"Sonic! You're just in time. Come here, quickly!" She waved him closer and he sat down.

"So, we were thinking...since you want a small wedding we could have it at one of the chao garden's because they're so rare. That way Eggman can't interfere! Would you like a cookie?" Amy held a plate of cookies towards Sonic, and he took one without hesitation.

"That sounds like a good idea. Do you know where Shadow is? I woke up and he wasn't there." Sonic said as he took a bite out of his cookie.

"Oh! He went to go get fitted and get you a special gift! We thought it would be best if you went with him to decide on the decorations for you wedding." Tails showed up at the table and handed him a cup of hot coco. Everyone had their own so they had something to down the cookies with.

The group huddled around the table and began to discuss further about their blue friend's wedding. Sonic tried to pay attention, but the only thing on his mind was Shadow. 

"Hey Tails, what did you mean by Shadow getting fitted? Does he need new clothes?" Sonic asked. The group burst out in laughter, unsure if their blue friend was being serious or genuinely curious.

"Y-You serious never heard of someone getting fitted?" Tails laughed, and wiped a tear that had begun to form because of how hard he was laughing. Sonic became flustered because of how his friend were treating him.

"I-I'm new to all of this! You know that! J-just tell me and stop making fun of me!" He huffed. Their laughs settled down giving Tails enough time to breathe.

"When someone gets fitted it means they're getting their body measurements. It's usually for when you get a suit or a dress for a special occasion." Tails explained. Sonic understood now. He took a bite of his cookie and sip some of his hot coco.

"Is he gonna take long?" I miss him.

"Oh, getting fitted takes some time, but he'll be back soon. Then again getting your special gift might take some time too. He left a while ago, and Amy, Silver, and Knuckles have been here since the morning. Rouge had a mission, so she's not here." Tails said. Sonic nodded.

Just then, there was a knock on the door. Sonic's ears perked, and he stood up.

"I'll get it!" He said, and swiftly made his way to the door. His friends smiled as they watched him. Sonic opened the door, ready to greet Shadow with a big smile. But when he did, it was the person he least expected.

"Sonia!? What are you doing here?" He whispered. He closed the door more so that his friends wouldn't see his triplet sister. The only response he got was a glare from her.
