Its December now. Kami helped me in getting my new phone. She bought me all new clothes too.

I've been here in Omaha for a month now. Since the beginning of November. It's all been going well. No signs of Austin and Max anywhere so far.

The biggest thing that has happened so far of me being here is being enrolled in Westside High.

Nate's school.

I'm in his grade and honestly I'm kind of worried. We agreed on us not communicating during school and acting like we don't know each other was the best thing to do. Keeping me safe was Nate's top priority.

But I'm skeptical of it. It can't last all that long. People will find out that I'm living with Nate sooner or later.

Today's my first day at Westside. Me and Nate were going in early with his mom so I could talk with the principal. Then Nate was going to walk me around the school before others would start coming in.

Kami pulled into the school parking lot. I sat in the back seat, staring up at the large school as she parked in a visitor only parking spot.

Nate looked back at me and chuckled a little. "Come on Ri lets go!"

I gulped back the little bit of fear that was hiding in me and grabbed my backpack full of things that I'd need. Then climbed out of the car. Shutting the door behind me.

My eyes widely stared up at the huge brick and glass building in front of me.

"You'll be fine today, there's no need to be nervous." Kami told me coming up beside me.

Nate came to my other side. "Ya Riley, this school can be great as long as you make it that way."

"I'm nervous but I'm also excited. I can finally not worry about me wanting to learn and participate in class." I said shaking my head.

I'm actually going to school. One I can enjoy and learn in.

I followed behind Nate and his mom. We walked up the stairs of the school and through the front door. My pace slowed down as my eyes scanned the inside lobby in amazement. My school back in Rhode Island didn't look nearly as good as this one.

"Come on slow poke, principal Rickett is over here." Nate said placing his hand on the small of my back. I looked up at him and faintly smiled before he led me over to an office.

It was weird being in the principal's office for something other than being in trouble.

"Ah, you must be Riley. I'm the principal here at Westside High. Principal Rickett." She introduce herself to me, shaking my hand.

She wasn't to old looking. There was a smile placed on her face. Showing off the perfect white smile anyone would want. Her eyes were a hazel color, sparkling from the sunlight shining through the large windows behind her desk. Her light brown hair hung just on her shoulders.

She had the look of a principal that's for sure. Maybe she won't be as bad as my last principal.

"Please sit, I'll get your schedule." She told me. I nodded and sat down in the chair behind me. Nate was to my left and Kami was to my right.

The both of them didn't speak. I stared off into space not saying a word to them. What if things go wrong? What if I just fall right back into the same old pattern like before?

Principal Rickett came back into the room breaking my blank stare. "Alright, I have your schedule that gives you all your classes. I'm sure that Nate can take you to your classes today."

I looked at my new schedule. All of my new classes. U.S. History, Algebra, English, Chemistry, Fitness. There were also a few other little extra classes on my schedule. All of them sounded like so much fun.
