Sam pulled his car into one of the free parking spots then turned off the car. The two of us got out and started walking towards the venue doors. His hand not letting go of mine.
You could hear the music already blaring through the speakers. The bright lights flashed through the windows. It was easy to tell that the party inside was going great. Sounds like so much fun in there. I can't wait to spend all night here.
We eventually walked into the venue. The doorway leading into our space was covered in streamers. Me and Sam walked in and everyone in the room were in cheers.
"And there is the lovely couple of the class of 2014." Nate announced through a microphone. His voice projecting from the speakers. Everyone cheered even louder. I just laughed and looked up at Sam.
"Can we all give a big hand for Riley here who represented our class better than anyone ever could have before." Nate requested coming over to me. Wrapping his arm around my shoulder. My cheeks blushed as everyone clapped.
"We owe Riley here a lot of thanks. Or at least I do. Ever since she came here everything's been better. I've felt more inspired and more motivated to follow my dreams, and stay out of trouble. Hopefully... Riley's speech made everyone in this room, think the same tonight." Nate added. I smiled and kissed his cheek.
"We love you Riley!" Mallory and Leigh yelled out. I laughed a little at that. Jack and Jack did the same. Then everyone cheered again.
"Now let's get this party started Westside style!" Sam yelled out.
The cheers were loud as the music started again. Nate left me and Sam. Going over to the other side of the room. Sam grabbed my hand again and dragged me out towards the dance floor where Jack and Jack were along with Leigh and Mallory.
We started dancing and all of us just enjoyed the night for hours.
"Hey Riley, you up for hangin at my house tonight with me and the guys?" Gilinsky asked me over the loud music.
"Oh ya we'll be there too." Leigh added.
"Ya, that'll be fun!" I yelled back. Then my head turned to face Sam. He was staring over at someone else on the other side of the room.
I hesitantly followed his eyes, seeing who he was staring at. It was Jillian. She was dancing with a few of the football players and a few of her friends. She was all over one of the guys though. Why was Sam staring at her?
"Sam, you ok?" I asked placing my hand on his arm. He didn't look down at me at all.
"Ya I'm fine. Excuse me." He said and turned away from me. He walked away, gently pushing his way through people. What was wrong with him?
"What was that all about?" Johnson asked standing beside me now.
"I'm not sure. He was staring over at Jillian then when I asked him what's wrong... he just left." I shrugged.
"He's sex deprived." John's voice caught my attention. I quickly turned to see him walking over. Gilinsky joining us as well.
"Oh ya, I've seen it in him before. He get's pretty bitchy." Gilinsky added before taking a sip of his drink.
"You guys haven't had sex yet?" Johnson chuckled. Looking down at me. I rolled my eyes and groaned.
"Can we not talk about this?" I sighed, shaking my head.
"Oh shit I gotta talk to Sam." John laughed.
I rolled my eyes and walked past the three of them. I followed where Sam had gone out of and went into the parking lot. Maybe he went out to the car.
