-- 20 days till tour --
It was weird being back in Omaha. Me, Nate, and the Jacks had landed today. I've been home all day. Still not back to normal. I'm still a depressed wreck.
Everyone had gone to bed. I laid here in my bed. Hands folded over my stomach. My eyes staring up at the ceiling. Mind racing with thoughts and memories of me and Sam.
I need to find him. Because no one is seeming to find him. My mind thought of where he could be. And only one stood out to me.
I threw my covers off myself and walked over to my closet. Changing into some warmer clothes. I jumped up on my bed and stood by the window above it.
My fingers played with the lock, switching it over to the unlock position. With the strength I had left I pushed it forward to open it. I turned so my back was against the wall. Then with my hands I grasped the windowsill above me and lifted myself through the small space.
I'm used to sneaking out and squeezing myself out through spaces like this. I'm an escape artist as some people used to call me.
But now I was out of the house finally. Ready to look for Sam.
Neither Kami, Monte, Stew, or Nate noticing that I left. I just couldn't stand here anymore not looking for Sam.
There's a chance he could've came home.
I've remembered some things that Sam has told me. He always goes to the hill when something's wrong. Which right now, it's possible he's there.
I know it's not that far from Nate's. So I just walked.
It was getting cold out. I was in skinny jeans and the long sleeve crew neck shirt from Sam's merch.
God Sam.
We haven't seen each other in two weeks. It's been torture. Things are getting harder. I'm getting more worried. I need my Sammy back.
Walking along roads in the darkness. Every so often the ground was lit up by street lights. Their orange glow very faint. I crossed my arms over my chest to keep myself a little warmer.
Once getting to the opening where the narrow path led up to the hill, I made sure no one could see me. A nervous trait I'd always do to make sure no one follows. Then started walking along the path.
The walk was longer than the drive. It was tiring. My breath was getting short and heavy. The temperature seemed to slowly drop as I walked.
Getting to the top, relief washed over me. Although the lack of energy left me weak.
Tears were forming in my eyes as I looked around in the darkness. This place is so much better when I'm with the boys. When we're having fun. Christmas lights on and music playing.
"Sam!" I couldn't help but yell out. My cries making my voice sound scratchy and not as loud. "Sam I don't know where you are. Or what happened to you. But I just want to know what's going on. I miss you Sam. And I'm going insane without you. I need you."
My cries got even louder. My breathing became harder. The air around me became colder. All of it was giving me a headache and causing me to become dizzy. I looked all around hoping to see Sam. But everything was a blur. Then soon it all went black.
I collapsed to the ground and became unconscious.

I'm not sure what time it was. Where I was. Or what happened. But when my mind finally came back to me, I could feel everything.
