Me and Sammy continued to talk hour after hour. We got lost in our conversations. Telling stories about our lives. Talking about our dreams.

It's amazing how much I can have in common with one person.

Although after a lot of talking we just decided to lay down. The both of us soon fell asleep on his couch.

Side by side. His arm draped over my waist. Our foreheads resting together. My hands resting against his chest. Being this close to him was so comforting and I feel protected.

The both of us weren't completely asleep. We were still somewhat awake. Or at least I was. I kept my eyes closed and just listened to Sam's steady breathing. It was quite relaxing.

Someone clearing their throat made both me and Sam wake up. He pulled away just a few inches to look up. His eyes widened.

"Mom." He said then all of a sudden fell back off of the couch and onto the floor. He was nervous. That was cute.

I held myself up on my shoulders and watched Sam lift himself up to his feet. I looked over my shoulder at his mother. She was very beautiful. I could see a little bit of her in Sam.

"So you finally decided to bring the girl over." She chuckled. I looked up at Sam and his cheeks were red with blush. His hand rubbed at the back of his neck in embarrassment.

I stood to my feet right beside him and looked at his mother. Giving her a wide smile I say, "It's very nice to meet you Mrs. Wilkinson. I'm Riley."

"Oh hon I know who you are. Sammy here has talked about you for quite awhile." She told me. "And you can call me Lori, don't worry about being too formal."

She was so sweet. Guess that's where Sam gets it from.

"I didn't know you were coming home yet." Sam spoke up.

"Have you lost track of time Sammy? It's 5 o'clock." She laughed. Then turned to me. "You are more than welcome to stay for dinner Riley. The family would love to meet you."

I became a bit shocked at Lori's invitation. Rarely do I get invited places.

"Oh I wouldn't want to bother you guys. Plus, Nate's parents are going out to dinner tonight together and Nate will be alone, I don't wanna leave him alone tonight." I told her. Politely declining.

"Well we can have him come over here. It's been awhile since Nate had dinner with us. Sammy call him and have him come here. No excuses." She said. Then left the room to go towards the kitchen. I sighed and looked over at Sam.

We were both a little nervous. We've been hanging out all day. Then just ended up kissing each other.

We're not going to be able to hide that from Nate. Or at least I know I won't. It's impossible to hide anything from him. I show things too well when around him.

"Guess I have to call him." Sam sighed then took out his phone. I watched him call Nate. And step away from me a little.

I kind of tuned out his conversation. Thinking about what will come to happen.

You know with me and Sam. Nate's reaction. Things could change. They could either be good or bad. Only the future can tell.

Sam's voice coming to a stop snapped me back into reality. Coming out of my little daydream of the future.

He stood in front of me now. Smiling sympathetically. "He'll be here in about 10 minutes."

"Well that's, good." I responded. Not completely sure on what to say.
