Saisha woke up feeling refreshed after a long time. Her schedule had been too hectic since the last month due to a promotion tour she was on.
She had taken over the family jewellery business. Her parents had only her and her chachu's son was too young right now.
She got dressed and left for the shop. She entered the shop and greeted her staff who greeted her back with smiles.
They loved her because she always treated them nice and was like a friend to them.
Customers started coming in and e everyone got busy.
"Saisha mam! Sir wants to see something lavishly rich and exquisite for his wife for their 50th anniversary."
One of her staff called for her and she went towards the customer with a polite smile.
"Good morning sir. We would be pleased to assist you. We have some beautiful and exquisite jewellery designs crafted out of skillfully carved diamonds and precious stones. The designs are in this magazine sir. Please select whatever you like."
The man went through the magazine impressed. His eyes fell on a particular design and he asked for it.
Saisha nodded and went to the safe that opened only from her fingerprint other than the other family members and they kept their expensive pieces there.
She opened the safe and went inside. She took the design the man selected and went back after locking the door.
The man liked the piece and finalised it after making the payment. Saisha was very happy. They just sold a ₹10 crores necklace. She promised the employee a bonus who smiled widely.
Saisha went back to the safe to punch in the date of sale of the necklace. She sighed in content when her eyes fell on the other pieces and her smile slowly fell.
There were supposed to be 10 necklaces, 5 rings and 8 pair of earrings. The rings and earrings were fine but why were there only 8 necklaces? One just got sold so 9 should remain.
She ran out after locking the safe and skimmed through the magazine. She stopped at one design. This! This one was not here. And it was the most costliest.
The necklace cost ₹50 crores. Made with the most rare gems it was the most etheresl piece of theirs.
Her breath hitched as she ran back inside to check again. Maybe it fell over somewhere. Even her employees were confused to see her running here and there in panic.
Saisha checked everywhere but the necklace was nowhere to be found. She held her hand as cold sweat trickled down her head.
She rushed to the security room and asked the controller to play the video footage of the previous night. She had a habit of checking everything before leaving for the day and she was sure the necklace was there the previous night.
And she was right. The footage started with her checking the contents and the necklace stood right there. She looked on carefully and her eyes widened when she saw a figure covered in black from top to bottom appear in front of the screen. She didn't know how the person entered in but she could figure out that the person knew which piece to take.
He went straight for the costliest one and was gone in a span of 5 minutes. No doubt that the entire world knew about the cost of the necklace because of the promotion tour but how did the person enter in. Were they planning it since a long time?
Without wasting another moment she dialled 100 and informed the police about the same. She then called her father and told him about that.
Her family and the police reached almost at the same time.
Her father asked her what happened and as she told him everything the police also entered.
Saisha looked at the gate and her breath stuck. How on Earth can someone be this perfect? Because the man in front of her was the most beautiful man she had ever seen. And the police uniform made him look even more attractive.
She didn't even realise she was staring at him nonstop until she heard clearing of throat and saw her employee who was more like her friend giving her teasing looks.
Saisha cleared her throat and the officer came near her.
"You are Ms. Saisha? The one who called us?"
She nodded because her throat clogged at how deep his voice was. Oh my God! Saisha! Get a grip!
She scolded herself and said.
"Yes sir. I am Saisha Sabarwal."
He nodded and looked around.
"Can you tell me what happened since the time you entered?"
She nodded and took a deep breath.
"I came to the shop at around 9am. Customers were already here so I started attending them. At around 11am a customer asked for special jewellery pieces which are kept in the safe. He selected a design and I went to get it. Uss waqt I didn't notice anything because I was focused on the other piece."
She againt took a breath and continued.
"The customer finalised the design and made the payment. I again went to the safe and punched in the date of sale. And when I recounting the pieces I noticed one less. And then after finding which one it was I rechecked it everywhere. When I couldn't find it I checked the CCTV footage and called you."
He nodded and asked her to show the footage she was talking about. She escorted him to the security room and played the video again.
She observed him while he focused on the video. Her gaze fell on his name badge.

Damn! Even his name was hot. Aarish looked at her side feeling a constant gaze making her look down quickly.
He wasn't unaware of the female attention he got anywhere he went but he would never jeopardize his job by indulging with one of the victims.
