"Why are you laughing?"
Diya asked confused and he turned to her with an amused smile still on his face.
"Why are you scared?"
She looked away and mumbled.
"I'm not scared."
"Really? Then why did you call me in this lift?"
She had no amswer.
"You hated when I got into this lift and now you called me here yourself. Which means you're scared."
He was just a step away from her. And the incident was still fresh in her mind.
"Why did you kiss me?"
She asked and her eyes widened when he raised his eyebrow. She looked away and cursed herself while biting her lip making his attention go there.
He gulped before asking back.
"When did I kiss you?"
She looked at him shocked now.
"You-you know when!"
"No I don't! Please enlighten me."
"That day! In the lift."
"Did I kiss you then?"
"You did! I couldn't breathe and you-"
"Exactly! You couldn't breathe and I gave you artificial respiration. Not kissed you."
He countered and then looked at her with a smirk. She had never been kissed and he knew that now.
"How do you define a kiss Diya?"
"When two pairs of lips meet each other-"
She mumbled only to be cut off by a snicker. Jagrav was amused. The lift stopped at their floor and he got out making her stomp behind him in anger.
"How do you define a kiss then?"
He turned with his hands in his pockets. A smirk still on his face.
He walked towards her making her walk backwards. Her back hit the wall and he caged her between his arms and the wall.
"I don't know about others but when I kiss... you'll not feel butterflies but fireworks in your stomach, eruptions in your body and tingles on your skin, your lips will taste like mine and your breath feel like mine for a long long time even after the kiss."
Diya swore she felt her stomach flip. He looked into her eyes and slowly leaned in while gazing at her lips.
She closed her eyes and tilted her head. When she didn't feel anything for a minute she opened her eyes to see him nowhere.
She groaned and stomped her feet marching to her cabin in anger.
A few weeks passed and Diya knew Jagrav was teasing her.
He had stopped using her elevator and she had to order him to which he replied with an "alright Ma'am".
He had stopped smirking at her and instead gave polite, calculated smiles, he had also stopped tampering with her morning coffee to which she surprisingly had got addicted to and now normal coffee didn't appease her.
Diya had a sip of her coffee and fumed in anger. Again perfect. Having enough of his nonsense she barged into his cabin making him look at her in shock.
"Is everything alright ma'am? Do you need something?"
She held his collar and pulled him down.
"Yes! An explanation!"
She yelled and he looked at her even more confused.
"What is wrong with you? Why have you not been getting my coffee?"
"That is the pantry boy's job mam."
"Jagrav I swear I'll kill you if you call me mam again. And you're going to get me coffee from tomorrow no matter what. And the way you made it for me."
She could see a faint smile on his face as he nodded.
"And one more thing."
She said making him raise his eyebrow in question.
"Kiss me!"
He looked at her shocked. His gaze went to her lips and his body without listening to his brain worked on its own. His arms wrapped around her waist pulling her closer, his eyes closed and head tilted as his lips met hers.
He kissed her just like he promised and made her imagine. Fireworks! There were fireworks in her stomach, her skin tingled and eruptions were there in her body. He pulled back and she could still taste him on her lips, her breath smelled like his.
She looked at him blinking in daze and he clutched her hair kissing her like he had been hungry since ages and she was his favorite food. She pulled back slightly and whispered over his lips.
"Time paas toh nhi kr rhe na Jagrav? Please tell me this is as serious for you as is for me."
Her voice came out pleading and he looked at her softly. He cupped her face and said.
"You've offended me mam. Mai aise hi time paas ke liye kisi ko kiss nhi krunga. Especially when it is my first kiss."
Her eyes sparkled a little. She was his first too.
"Time pass toh wo college wali girlfriends thi jo unhe bhi pata tha. And that's why I didn't touch them. Wo right aise hi kisi ko bhi deta mai."
He smiled and pecked her lips softly.
"I love you Diya."
She smiled and hugged him placing her cheek over his heart. She could feel his wildly beating heart.
"I love you too Jagrav."
He smiled and hugged her tighter. Letting their silence and heartbeats give the rest of the feelings away.
Diya remembered something and looked at him.
"I have to tell you something."
She didn't know how he'd react after knowing that she had a son. He hummed asking her to continue but before she could the intercom in his cabin rang and he picked it up.
A smile formed on his face hearing whatever was being said on the other end. He kept the receiver down after thanking the person and picked Diya and twirled her around.
"Desai Co. & Co. Ltd. are ready to deal with us!"
Diya looked at him shocked. It took her two minutes to process and when she did she hugged him again and kissed her cheek while running back to his cabin to prepare for the same.
It was at night that she remembered she had to tell Jagrav about Divay. He was leaving for Bangalore the next day for the deal. She would tell him as soon as he returns from Bangalore. She didn't want any secrets or misunderstandings between them.
She just really wished he understood and heard her before forming any assumptions like everyone else. She loved him too much to lose him.
