Diya had realised that managing even a week without a PA in such a big company was a task.

She got so frustrated at times because she had to perform two jobs and that made her cranky and always angry.

On top of that the morning's incident pissed her off to no extent.

She was in the society park for the daily morning walk. Diya and her family have recently shifted into a new locality. She didn't know much people here because she hadn't got any time to socialize yet.

She smiled at a group of ladies while jogging but instead of a smile she got back a sarcastic expression and a judgy look.

Frowning but deciding to ignore it she continued jogging. After finishing her routine she sat on the grass to stretch when she heard the same group of ladies who were sitting on a bench at a distance speak.

"Haan wahi na. Shadishuda thodi hai ye. Arre meri baat hoti hai iski maa se. Maine puchha tha. Kehti abhi toh ladke dekhne shuru bhi nhi kiye."

She shook her head. Typical ladies.

"Najayaz (Illegitimate) hi hoga. Shadi toh hui nhi. Bacha kaha se aaya? Zarur challar wakkar raha hoga. Batao! Bache ke aage najayaz ka tag aur laga dia. Ye aaj kal ke bache na control krna jaante hi nhi hai."

Her blood ran cold. Who were they talking about.

"Arre ho skta hai divorcee wagerah ho?"

She heard another lady say.

"Nhi nhi. Baat hui thi meri Mrs. Khanna se. Unmarried hi hai."

Her! They were talking about her. But why drag her son into this. He was nowhere at fault.

Not wanting to engage in any argument with them early morning she went away from there not before making a loud noise gaining the ladies attention.

She knew people will never understand her and her son's relationship. And that was why she was still not agreeing for marriage. She doesn't only want a husband. But also a father for her baby, her Divay.

As if her already frustrated form wasn't enough the person behind them decided to bang into their car making Diya's coffee spill all over her white shirt.

She groaned. She had a very important meeting today.

Getting out of the car in fury she harshly patted the bonet of the car who banged into them.

A man, dressed tastefully in a beautifully tailored suit came out of his car and removed his shades. His eyes! They were a beautiful shade of green.

She would have admired his features if not for her anger.

"Andhe ho kya? Itni badi gaadi nazar nhi aayi tumhe?"

Jagrav looked around and saw people looking at them. His ego felt bruised being scolded by a woman. That too a woman his age.

"Badi gaadi? Where is it? You're right nazar nhi aayi koi bhi 'badi gaadi' mujhe."

He said rolling his eyes and Diya felt like scratching his face with her nails.

"You bloody jerk! Ek sorry bol dene se height kam ho jaayegi tumhari? Ek toh galti kro upar se attitude!"

"Stop yelling at me Ms. Tumhara naukar nhi ho jo beech sadak pr aise chilla rhi ho."

He said and left the place without giving her anymore attention which made her even more enraged.

Diya reached her office in an extremely pissed mood which everyone understood and hence no one came in her way.

Jagrav was shown his cabin and he had set it up according to his taste when he heard the door opposite him being banged shut.

His boss was here! Fixing his tie properly and setting his hair he took a deep breath and knocked on the cabin door.

"Come in!"

Came a clipped voice and Jagrav frowned. That's when his gaze fell on the name plate.

Diya Khanna
CEO

He didn't know his boss was a woman. Nonetheless he entered the room slowly.

His eyes widened seeing the woman in front of him. She looked up and her eyes widened before they filled with anger.

"What the hell are you doing here?"

She asked banging her table getting up in anger.

Jagrav cursed himself and his fate. She was his boss. He cleared his throat and met her blazing eyes.

"I hope you keep your personal and professional lives separate."

Still in his attitude. Diya frowned and then smirked realising something.

"You're the new PA!"

Jagrav didn't reply but gulped. He had boasted in front of his father for so long. He couldn't lose this job.

"What was your name again? Jag-Jagdish?"

"Jagrav! Jagrav Maheshwari."

He corrected and she walked towards him with slow, mocking steps.

"Jagrav! Right. So Mr. Jagrav what were you saying?"

"I hope whatever happened back on the road would remain personal and won't affect our professional lives."

He said and she raised her eyebrow.

"What's with the tone? Begging for the job and itna attitude!"

She mocked and his jaw clenched.

"I am not begging!"

He said raising his voice a few decibels. Diya smirked. That's what she wanted.

"Well then! You can leave!"

He looked at her shocked.

"Excuse me?"

"Leave! You're dismissed."

He looked at her open-mouthed.

"You-you can't do that!"

She turned and looked at him.

"Really? Kaha likha hai? Show me your appointment letter."

He groaned mentally and muttered.

"I haven't received my appointment letter yet. I do have my offer letter though."

"Offer letter doesn't say any such thing. You may leave Mr. Jagrav."

She turned to sit back on her sit. He stood there for a minute and then she heard a very quiet voice.

"Excuse me? Were you saying something?"

She asked and he gritted his teeth repeating in a louder voice.

"I am sorry."

She smirked and said.

"For? For hitting my car?"

He hummed and she continued.

"For being a snob and showing me attitude?"

He hummed again looking away wanting to murder this woman.

Smiling victoriously she said.

"Fine! Apology accepted. You may go to your cabin. I hope aapki briefing ho gyi thi and you're aware about what you're supposed to do."

He nodded and started leaving when she called out.
