"Good morning, Leopards," Mr. Mazzara as his face flashes onto all the TV screens in the school hallway as the polite conversation between Gracie and Blake falls quiet as they listen to the morning accouncements. "And Wildcats. Just a reminder, if you have any dope home videos from over the holiday break, slide them into my DMs.""Oh, God," Gracie cringed as she shut her locker. Blake broke into a quiet fit of laughter as Mazzara continued.
"I am hundo P this year's first ever video yearbook will be...Gucci."
"Does he seriously think we talk like that?" Gracie asked, unable to stop listening to the trainwreck.
"I don't know," Blake shook his head, laughter lacing his voice. "But I hope he does a few more of these."
"And for those of you interested in becoming the full-time student anchor here on the Morning Show, stop by my AV club room. Don't worry about looking good on camera because you're going to look great on college applications. Last but definitely not least, auditions for this semester's musical will be held after school in the newly refurbished auditorium. Can't wait to see what Miss Jenn has up her sleeve because last semester's show was fire."
Gracie could only hum in disapproval.
"And that's the news, folks. You heard it here first. From my mouth to yours."
"Okay, they need to replace him quick," Gracie said as she and Blake begun their walk to their classes.
"What do you mean? He's a natural!" Blake joked before putting an arm around Gracie's shoulders. "Just like how you are going to be a natural playing Belle."
"I wouldn't say that," Gracie shook her head. "There a lot of great people trying out for her. Though if Nini were here she would have that role in a heartbeat and you know whatever role Nini gets, Ricky would be her counter part."
"But there is no Nini this time around," Blake shrugged. "Maybe it's our turn to be Ricky and Nini of the show, but you know, better in every possible way."
"You starting to sound like EJ," she tried to joke in hope that the feelings of disgust would leave her. They didn't.
Blake turned to look at her. "What do you mean?"
"Nothing," she answered breathlessly. "Just...It's just that you're sounding really competitive. And maybe we can just take a step back from that. Try to have fun with auditions?"
She looked back up at Blake who gave her a kind smile."You're right. We'll just have fun. No pressure."
"Good," Gracie forced a smile as the two of them went separate ways.

"Attention, thespians!" Carlos stood up in excitement as everyone from the drama club gathered around a table at lunch. "I have a brief announcement."
