Madison's POV:

December 18th

Ginny, Theo, Mattheo, and I just finished breakfast and were spending the rest of the morning studying together. We were on our way to the library when we saw Ron in the corridor.

"Hey, Ron," Ginny greeted.

He smiled at her and did a double-take when he realized who she was with. "Ginny, what're you doing with them?"

"Ron, relax-" I started.

"Was I speaking to you?" He asked coldly.

"Hey, you need to watch yourself," Mattheo interjected.

"Ginny, you know you aren't supposed to be around Slytherin's,"

"Why? Because you think they're terrible? I'm confident that I was supposed to be a Slytherin, Ronald. Besides, why would father bring us to the World Cup with Amos, Cedric, and Maddi then?"

"You really think he wanted Maddi there? She's a Slytherin, nobody good is ever sorted into Slytherin,"

"Ron, back off," Theo hissed.

"She's allowed to hang out with whoever she wants, besides, we bonded at the World Cup. You can't force us not to be friends." I added.

"Yes I can, and I will. I don't trust you, Diggory."

"Fine by me, but it's Ginny's life, let her live it."

By this point, Ginny was close to tears and Theo noticed. He grabbed Ginny's hand and went to lead her away, "Come along, darling,"

Ron pushed Theo, "Who the hell do you think you are? Don't touch my sister,"

"I'm trying to take her away from this yelling match that you started. She's your sister but she's my girl, Weasley,"

I watched the gears in Ron's head snap. "You stay the hell away from my sister or-"

"Or what?" Theo pushed.

"Ron stop, just go," Ginny pleaded.

Ron grabbed Ginny's wrist harshly and I watched her cringe in pain. "Get off of her!" I yelled and shoved Ron.

He let go of Ginny and shoved me back, I bumped into Ginny and we both tumbled to the ground due to the sudden force. Mattheo and Theo looked at each other and stood between us and Ron. "You've crossed the line, get out of here now, or you'll pay the price,"

"What's going on here?" It was Seamus. "You good, Ron?"

"No, these Slytherin's are messing with my sister,"

I pulled Ginny off the ground and hugged her, She was conflicted with what was happening and I knew she felt awful. "It's okay, it's not your fault," I whispered to her.

"You dare hassle, Ginny?" Seamus questioned.

"They didn't do anything wrong, Ron started it," I replied.

"You're no good trash, a shitty excuse of a witch," Ron spat.

Seamus shoved Mattheo and I watched Mattheo look at me, I nodded and he ran full force into Seamus and knocked him on his ass. Ron went after Theo and the four boys were in a brawl. "Shit," I said and rolled my eyes. "Stay here," I told Ginny. I walked over to the fight and attempted to get between the boys. I managed to pull Mattheo off of Seamus since Tao didn't want to risk hurting me. I then walked over to Ron and Theo. I pushed them apart but Ron's rage was fueling him. A punch that was meant for Theo landed on my lower jaw and knocked my ass to the floor. I gasped and smacked my head on the floor.
