The neighbourhood full of life and content
But all she saw in his eyes was contempt
In his ocean eyes that faded to grey
As she entered the house feeling like a prey
The woman inside of her own home
Can't beat the feeling of being alone
The man before her sitting on his throne
All she could do is smell his cologne
His little love bite changed when he digged his teeth
In the turn of neck, the woman crawled beneath
She flattened under his harsh glare
The way he laughed showed his care
She knew that she was stuck in this lair
He knew that they were forever a pair
Her dream of a man has lost all its colours
Everything turned them into black and white lovers
She bear her eyes to a sight that made her cry
And he was standing towering her
Everything for her seemed so blur
As she let out a "why?"
His eyes on her, saw her eyes watering
His hand occupied by his mind clenched in fury
She shuts her eyes, the tears burning
Waiting for his judgement as he's the jury
But the eyes widen at his hand on her cheek
Her voice forgot to leak as she couldn't speak
As she leans on the touch she seek
His grasp, like a spider web made her weak
"You are so beautiful like a flower in the rain."
"Even if your petals fall, our love will not drain"
"Stay on your knees as it's your holy place"
"Together with me, just the two of us, we're laced"
Her heartbeat screamed at an unholy rate
As those words melted all present kind of hate
They became connected, his hand grabbing her chin as their lips met
Even if the embrace felt like a cage, the loving kiss made her forget
The tone of his voice, the way he is showering with love intensifies the threat
The love bombing, all the desperate cries, all those lies created regret
Their encounters was truly a venomous gift
The woman was under the effect of the mist
She couldn't have foreseen the twist
While he was keen to put a chain on her wrist
She smiled think that she was a bird that can fly
She was a sunchaser always chasing the high
As she found her sun in his arms, she fry
Forgetting that the sun burn, a bird can still die
The rush of emotions made her dive in the sky
She was locked inside his ocean eyes
But her wings melted under the sun, she cry
Now falling into the sea, drowning in his lies
The idyllic image faded when the curtains burned to ash
Leaving the woman to falling to the invisible splash
His ocean eyes drowning her, shade to grey, he hatch
The new him or the real one only left her with the scratch
They are addicted to each other like drugs, they crave the rush
The ephemerality only enhanced their depravity to this clutch
One is stuck with the past, while the man enjoyed the crush
Yet while it lasts, they both pretend and hush
No one talks about the couple, suffering in silent pain
The one who gains the most will be the last to remain
Somewhere there will always be repeat of this refrain
As people have desires they will always be something to attain
But this woman couldn't keep on the show
The only words she left before she goes
"You were such a beautiful escape... but only left with the pain"
"I thought that you were the love I wished to obtain"
"But you ended being in reign, putting me in chains"
"So forever goodbye, you were a mistake"
"I can see it now as I'm finally awake"
"Hope and dreams can't help that you are insane"
The woman has finally left the sea
She ignored all the man's plea
As he screamed before the moonlight
On his knees, his grey eyes turned white
But this relationship has come to the end
No one was volunteering to pretend
