" Hannie, if I die tomorrow, what would you do ? What would your reaction be ? "

Joshua lowered his head and Jeonghan gently lifted it to kiss him, first delicately, then more powerfully. The elder's tongue makes its way to the younger's and the two men begin a battle. Unsurprisingly, Jeonghan wins easily, his hands sliding under Joshua's top and his kisses loosening on the younger man's neck and collarbone, at which point he also starts sucking on the black-haired man's skin, Joshua begins to breathe unusually fast and obscene noises come from his mouth, he starts to feel cramped in his pants, Jeonghan notices this so with one of his hands he gently caresses his lover's crotch, Joshua begins to moan softly this prompts Jeonghan to go further.

Jeonghan wakes up without any body heat by his side, which he finds odd because he's fallen asleep with Joshua in his arms. The young man decides to get up, and the moment his feet meet the ground, he hears his cell phone ring.

This last sentence is too much for Jeonghan, so he ends the call and hurries to get dressed and washed in order to leave as quickly as possible.
Once inside, out of breath, he asks the receptionist where Joshua is, and the woman replies that he's in room 247 on floor four. The blond man thanks the woman and starts running again, not even bothering to wait for the elevator, preferring to run on the steps, which really do go faster, the proof being that he's already arrived at the corridor indicated by the woman at reception, where he meets up with Seungcheol.

" Cheol hyung, are you okay ? I'm here. And how are Shua ? Is him okay ? "

The older man looks towards Jeonghan, rises from his chair and runs into his younger's arms. Once inside his friend's embrace, Seungcheol begins to weep with fatigue and worry.

" The operation didn't work, his body rejected the kidney... we need a compatible donor and unfortunately I'm not compatible with him."

" Do you think I am ? "

" Joshua wouldn't like it."

" If it's the only way to keep him alive, I do it Cheol hyung."

Suddenly a nurse arrives, asks Jeonghan if he wants to do the compatibility test and the boy replies yes, without hesitation.
After the test, the results are positive : Jeonghan is totally compatible with Joshua and can therefore offer him a kidney.

-> One week later.

Both operations went really well, Joshua waking up slowly after a week's sleep. When he opens his eyes, he sees his boyfriend looking at him with relief.

" I should have died, why am I still alive ? " Ask Joshua confused by the situation.

" Did you really wish to die ? "

" No, Hannie, it's not that. It's just that I've been told that we haven't found a suitable donor, so I'm wondering what has-"

" You were compatible with me Shuji, you live with one of my kidneys inside you and I only have one left."

" Why did you do it ? You should never have done it."

" Hong Joshua ! I fucking love you ! How could you want me to live without you ? It's not possible. "

Jeonghan comes delicately to sit on his younger's bed, the latter cries softly and the blond begins to cry too.

" Joshua if you die tomorrow, I die tomorrow too. Understand it, my life without you has no meaning, I'd do anything for you, for your happiness. "

" Thanks to you I won't die tomorrow. But now I know that if I die tomorrow you'll accompany me in my death."

" That's exactly it, even though I'll probably suffer nothing is more painful than losing you. "

Joshua sits up slowly, a slight grunt of pain crossing the barrier of his lips, but it's not very important to him. Without hesitating any longer, he takes his eldest in his arms, and settles his head properly in his elder's neck. The latter delicately returns his younger's embrace, without squeezing too tightly, as he's no doubt still in pain.

" Hannie, how did you know anyway ? I didn't say anything to you."

" Seungcheol hyung called me not feeling well at all, poor thing can you imagine you asked him to keep it to himself and on top of that your first operation went badly before his eyes. Imagine the state I'd have found him in if the operation had taken your life."

" It's true, when I did that I was thinking only of myself, I told myself I was going to die anyway, so it didn't matter to me."

" Seungcheol is like me, we'll never let you die like that. You know we're here for you and you can always count on us."

" You too hyung, always count on us. "

Jeonghan simply nods and places a few tender kisses on the back of his youngest neck, the latter closes his eyes and tenderly appreciates what his eldest is offering him, he had really missed all this and he's really glad he won't die tomorrow.

" Jeonghan hyung honestly if I die tomorrow, because the-..."

" Remember that I'll die with you, we'll die together. So don't ever say you'll die tomorrow. The operations have been a success, so there's no reason to think that anything serious is going to happen. All we can do now is live in peace. Right, Shuji ? "

Joshua nod softly, he won't die tomorrow, Jeonghan won't die tomorrow too, now that both operations have been successful and they now it, well they just have to live happily ever after.
