Jeonghan is fifteen when a young man arrives in his family. The boy is his age and they hit it off right from the start. For them, they'll become more than friends, and they're right to think so, because in just a few months, the chemistry between the two boys has been more than demonstrative, and now that a year has passed, the two boys have decided to listen to their hearts and to love each other, to be a couple. Surprisingly, Jeonghan's parents say absolutely nothing, just that they're sure it's going to happen, because certain looks don't deceive.

Another year went by and many arguments ensued, the youngest after yet another argument finally exploded and asked for a separation, Jeonghan accepting with a broken heart.

After three years of intense study, Jeonghan is now in a music group, and it hurts his heart not to have heard from his lover after that argument and separation, his half-brother and boyfriend completely disappeared after that and it makes him feel bad.

After a few months the pd nim announces that a thirteenth member is coming and the boys are all not happy about who is going to join them, but they like to know that one last member is going to join them.

" Boys, here's your last member: Hong Jisoo.
He's going to be called Joshua because that's his American name. "

Jeonghan finds it hard to get over the name - he knows it all too well - but he's worried that things won't work out between them, because in real life three years ago they parted on a bad note.

" Jeonghan ? Fate really wants to bring us together. "

The older boy starts to get teary-eyed, all the memories flooding back and Joshua swallows, he never thought he'd see Jeonghan in the same band as him again, but then he remembers that when they were younger they often talked about wanting to be in a band. As the two boys stand there staring into each other's eyes without reacting further, the other members decide to leave them alone, as it's obvious they've got a lot to talk about.

After the visual exchange, the two boys finally let go of each other's gaze, sighing together, looking down and then back into each other's eyes.

" I've never stopped loving you, Shua, the proof being that right now I just want to kiss you. And to take you in my arms."

" You hurt me that day, Jeonghan. I loved you too, but I don't think I love you now, it's been three years..."

Jeonghan swallows, he knows it's all his fault, he's lost the man he loves most for some childish, childish reason, ridiculous and pathetic. Hearing Joshua say he no longer feels anything for him makes him feel bad, because he's never forgotten his lover.

Joshua smiles sadly and starts to walk away, but Jeonghan stops him in the middle of his walk, the American smiles all the more, he knew this was going to happen, Jeonghan always did this to hold him back, apparently he hasn't lost the habit.

" Shuji-ya, I've grown up, I'm not the same, I assure you..."

" You had a fit of jealousy because I talked too much with my best friend. Do you remember that ? It was horrible, you were always doing that, even though I was in love with you and faithful to you."

" I know I was too jealous for anything, but I assure you I'm not like that anymore. I've always been faithful too, it wasn't you I didn't trust, but the others. And since I was uncertain about myself, I was too afraid you'd find someone better than me..."

" Never could I have found better than you, never could I have loved a person I loved you, never Jeonghan. "

" Never would I make that same mistake again. I still fucking love you, it's awful..."

The American holds back a laugh, he's spinning Jeonghan's mind and he likes it, he likes playing with him, it's always been like that even if it's mean, he decides to put all his current feelings in the past tense and have fun with Jeonghan's reactions.

" I really don't think I like you anymore, you know we were brothers originally and..."

" You'll never be like a brother to me. You've never been a brother to me, I love you to death."

" Then die."

Joshua smiles frankly, and even though his sentence is turned wickedly his smile makes Jeonghan's heart light up. Without hesitation, he grabs Joshua's second wrist and pulls the boy into his arms.

At first the American says nothing, and doesn't react; he really wants to hurt Jeonghan the way the young man had hurt him three years before. Maybe he's just holding a grudge, but he's angry at his elder brother for acting the way he did.

Nevertheless, fate seems to love their duo so much that it has decided to bring them together once again, so they can perhaps start afresh and try things out from scratch.

" Jeonghan, what's our leader's name again ? "

Joshua isn't serious in his request-he knows very well what he's called, he's just testing Jeonghan's jealousy, to see if he's really changed.

" His name is Seungcheol, but his stage name is S.Coups."

" Asparagus sounds good too, doesn't it ? I'm glad you spoke calmly."

" I told you I'd calmed down, that my jealousy wasn't as demonstrative as it used to be, plus Seungcheol is in a relationship with Chan. He'd never dare cheat on his boyfriend with you."

" And I wouldn't dare cheat on you either, Jeonghan. "

" We're not a couple anymore ? "

" Yes, but I never dared accept the feelings of someone other than you, even though we weren't together anymore I felt like I was cheating on you when I went on a date. Besides, nobody was like you, I could never love someone the way I love you."

" Do you still love me ? "

Joshua slowly pulls away from his eldest and takes his eldest's face between his hands and comes to rest his lips against his lover's, the latter smiles delicately into the kiss, he puts his hands behind Joshua's back and accentuates the exchange by sliding his tongue into his lover's mouth.

The American smiles into the kiss in turn and slowly pushes away from his elder.

" You're enjoying it, like before you're going deeper. "

" You engage, I accentuate. It's always been like that between us, nothing's changed really."

" And nothing will. I'm giving you a second chance, don't waste it."

Jeonghan shakes his head, he'll never waste this precious second chance, he's missed his lover and he needs him to be happy, now that he's back in his life and in his arms, he'll never do anything stupid again, he'll be calm and totally trust his lover's feelings towards him, jealousy is pointless and it destroys a relationship, now that he knows this, Jeonghan will never be jealous again.
