Strong

The members of Seventeen find themselves playing a concert in Japan, the end of which is fast approaching and the boys have to give their closing speech.
Joshua sits down between Mingyu and Chan and doesn't feel like it, but he's going to have to speak - it's already his turn.

" Hi ! Our precious Carats ! I hope you're well. I know I've worried some of you a lot and I apologize for that, I promise I'm trying to be as strong as possible but it's not always easy."

As the first tear rolls down Joshua's cheek, Chan notices and rests his head on his eldest's shoulder, closing his eyes to avoid crying with him.

" These last few days have surely been the most trying for me, since the beginning of the group I've never felt so bad, out of my place and rejected. Obviously many of you have been very supportive and I thank you for that, you've been my strength during these hard times."

Joshua begins to cry more and more, he feels Mingyu caressing his back and it hurts to worry the members.

" Fans and members alike have been and are my biggest mental strength. I promise to stop worrying all of you ! Be happy in your lives that's all you ask. Shua-ahae ! "

Joshua's tears don't stop, they're even more abundant than before.

" Shuji, get up."

Joshua slowly raises his head and looks towards his eldest, Chan removes his head from his shoulder and the youngest of the 95 line stands up, Jeonghan hesitantly takes him in his arms and he begins to cry all the tears of his body.
Joshua even has to calm him down, rocking him and gently stroking his eldest's hair.

Once his emotions have calmed down, Joshua gently steps back and Jeonghan takes his microphone in hand to say.

" Since the agency doesn't seem to want to protect you and you don't have the strength to say it, I'll do it for you."

The older step back and look at the fans.

" Joshua and this woman don't know each other at all, and your rumors about their relationship are absolutely pathetic and serve no purpose other than to destroy someone. Do you really get a kick out of pushing someone to leave their band, their friends, their second family ? Is it really that funny ? "

Jeonghan's rage explodes and Joshua is forced to ask him to calm down.

" You know why it was ridiculous to want him gone ? Because this woman is getting married to a man who isn't Joshua. Thank you Seungcheol hyung for finding this information.
And then the only one who has the right to be in a relationship with Joshua..."

The eldest stops looking at the fans, and looks towards the youngest, who starts breathing abnormally fast, afraid of what's going to happen next.

" The only one who has the right to be in a relationship with him is me. Yes, the JiHan exists, yes our relationship is real, yes I love him and only him. The first one who dares try to harm our relationship I'll find and mentally break him with my own words, is that clear ? "

Jeonghan takes hold of Joshua's waist and glues their bodies together, his lips delicately meeting those of his younger sibling, who tries to push his elder away at first but finally gives in completely, Jeonghan's tongue entering his mouth and playing with his own. After this delicious exchange, Joshua pulls back and hides in Jeonghan's arms.

" He's the strongest man I know, whether it's his physical or mental strength, he's admirable. I'm sorry I didn't protect him more, but now I'm going to protect him with all my being."

" Our strength is still us, our band and our fans. Together we're one, and that's our strength." Joshua says gently.

Suddenly he senses bodies coming up behind him, the little couple surrounded by the other members, and Joshua slowly steps back and picks up his microphone.

" Seungcheol hyung ! Thank you for being our greatest strength too ! "

" I love you guys ! " Shouted the leader, in the stands this one being injured in his knee could not make the concert but he still came to attend this in order to see his children perform.

Suddenly questions echo through the space, so the members decide to let go of each other and come and sit down in front of the fans, Jeonghan holding out his microphone to the fans.

" Have you been a couple since the beginning of the band ? " asks the first fan.

" No, it'll be two years this year. We've been together since Rock with you ~"

" That means we have to say goodbye to SeokSoo and JeongCheol."

" These are friendships that will continue to exist nevertheless it won't go further than friendship. "

" Who's the one who made the first move ? "

" I did, see Shuji ? He's all shy. "

" So are you Hannie ! I'm not shy, I'm uncertain it's not the same thing."

" You don't have to doubt my love for you ! You know very well that my whole body, soul and heart belong only to you."

The fans start screaming at this reply, but Jeonghan smiles and goes to his lover's side to give him a hug.

" We've got one last question ! Are there any couples other than yours ? After the JiHan is still our favorite, but we're curious ! "

" That's not for me to say."

Jeonghan winks at the fans who've just asked the question and for the only answer, Minghao kisses Jun on the lips and Seungcheol takes his microphone.

" Channie ! I miss your arms so much, I'm crazy about you. I can't wait to hold you again."

Chan hides between his arms in embarrassment but is still happy that their relationship is on display.

" And there you have it now, and I assure you there will surely be more. " Jeonghan starts laughing.

Joshua looks at his lover and places a kiss on the blond's cheek.

" Hannie, certainly the fans and members have given me strength during these days, but no one gives me as much strength as you, so thank you for being my strength since the beginning of the band."

" You're a very strong person on your own Shuji ~"

" Without you I wouldn't be as strong as I am, believe me."

Jeonghan smiles softly and comes to chastely kiss his beloved's lips, once this is done Jeonghan sits down on the floor and invites Joshua to settle on top of him.
The two lovers feel good, and free of a heavy weight, they're happy to have each other, they're each other's strength and nothing can destroy the strength of their love.

So I just watched Joshua's moment at the Japan follow tour concert. When he started to cry, I cried with him and I was sorry I hadn't protected him more, because he's someone who's really strong both mentally and physically. He's always held back his tears and now that he has, it hurts.
After all, crying doesn't mean you're weak, it just means you've been strong for too long, and that's exactly the best sentence to describe Joshua.
I love him more than my life and all the Carats love him.
