Jisoo comes home from high school with a sweet smile on his face, today he's managed to make a friend by the name of Seungcheol. The reason he's so happy is that normally everyone avoids him because of his father, who's known to be a major mafioso, known and recognized throughout the country, and despite his actions, the police can't manage to arrest him because the man always has more than one trick up his sleeve to escape justice.

All this to say that everyone in high school knows that Jisoo is the son of this mafioso, so they all avoid him because they think he's just like him. Nevertheless, they're very surprised to see and hear Jisoo's gentle voice and his warm, soothing side towards Seungcheol.

It's been a good day for the boy thanks to this young man, but even though he's got on very well with him, he must avoid talking to his father, otherwise Seungcheol will probably die. It's well known that any trace that brings Jisoo happiness must disappear, so when he arrives home, he takes off his shoes and goes straight to his room.

He starts to revise on his desk, but noises in the basement prevent him from going any further. Sighing, he decides to go downstairs to see what's going on, where he sees a man, handcuffed to a pole, with whips all over his body, and his father standing next to him with a Taser in his hand.

" Son ! Want to join the party ? "

" No, I'd just like to revise in peace and silence. "

" You hear, you bastard, my son can't learn his lessons because of you."

" You really are a psychopath, Dad, ever since Mom passed away because of you coward. "

" Don't mention her and join me."

" Certainly not. I would never be as bad as you."

With these last words, Jisoo looks sadly at the man who will probably die soon, and runs out of the basement to his room.

Once in his room, he sighs and hears noises ringing against his door. The American sighs again and tells the man to go inside. When Jisoo turns around, he sees Jeonghan, his father's right-hand man, who's also a bit of a nutcase in the head - from Jisoo's point of view, of course.

" What do you want Jeonghan ? "

" Join your father and kill this man."

" Why ? I wouldn't be as bad as you two in my life. Just leave me alone. "

" It's fun to watch someone die and have them beg to be spared. "

" You're a psychopath like my dad that's why you get along so well. You disgust me, please get out of my room."

" Jisoo, it might be fun if you join us."

Jisoo turns to Jeonghan and comes to stand in front of him, takes him by the shoulders, turns him with his back to him and pushes him out of his room, once the Korean is out of sight, the American returns to his desk and finally revises.

-> The next day

The young man comes out of his school with Seungcheol, a gentle smile on his lips, the two friends talk about the exams they've had during the day and are afraid of the final results. Seungcheol goes to ask Jisoo to come to his place to continue revising, but someone's cold stare prevents him from saying anything.

" What do you want Jeonghan ? "

" To see how your high school life is going."

" It's going pretty damn well because I can't see your face or my dad's."

" I'm sure you missed me Joshuji-ya."

Not without meaning to, Jisoo reacts to this nickname, it's the nickname the elder used to use about him when they were a bit younger and especially when they still liked each other, nevertheless now they don't like each other anymore so why is Jeonghan using this nickname again ?
