There isn't much that you can remember past the time of getting into the vehicle, the helicopter ride is completely lost on you as you all make your way back to base. You remember feeling exhausted as someone shifted you and pulled you in different directions. You constantly tried to stay awake and alert, attempting to get a bearing on your surroundings, but nothing you could do would open your eyes.
You vaguely remember voices, you think they were yelling. It was too difficult to make out what exactly they were saying but you could tell they were stressed, angry. You just wanted them to stop, no one should be fighting, why are they fighting? Your body suddenly floods with a warming sensation that immediately causes you to release stress and relax, and your figure becomes noticeably less tense.
König.
You would recognize his touch in life and death, he must be close to you, if not holding you. Try as you did; you couldn't call out to him like you wanted to, and soon you were cold again. Freezing and so tired, so weak. There was nothing you wanted more than to wake up and stop all this anger you could sense around you, and yet you were denied that as you fell into total darkness.

That annoying, incessant beeping sound is what woke you up first, your eyes following your ears. The room's bright white was temporarily blinding to your sensitive eyes, so you took a few blinks to allow yourself to adjust. You were in the med bay on base, hooked up to IV lines and stickies on your chest for monitoring.
You felt their presence stir within you before your mind registered your mates sitting on either side of you. König to your left with his hood off and his arms crossed, head down like he was sleeping. Ghost was on your right side, his balaclava on but lacking his typical skull plate, he was looking toward the door of the room as he watched the nurses and doctors hustling about outside it.
You were somewhat surprised to see Johnny sitting near the foot of your bed, playing some handheld game that had quiet little pew pew noises coming from it, his brows scrunched in concentration.
It made you smile despite the sharp shooting pain in your sides, "Ya winning, Johnny boy?"
The sound of your hoarse and crackly voice had all three men shooting out of their chairs, Ghost's crashing to the floor behind him, as they all began hovering over you and shouting different questions at you.
"Are you alright?"
"How do you feel?"
"Your head okay?"
"Wanna play?"
Your hands gripped your head, a throbbing sensation following their voices, were they always this loud?
Your thoughts were cut short by the main doctor on base walking in, you were familiar with him from a few past wounds.
"Alright, gentleman, if you're all going to bombard my patient, then you're all welcome to leave. I've been very gracious in letting you three stay long, long past visiting hours but I am not above having them reinforced." He looked at them all, just waiting for an argument that never came. "Alright, then kindly step aside so I may perform my exam."
