Chapter 17

                                  Felix's POV
I was worried all day about Onix getting mad at me for having to work on Saturday. At the end of my shift, I told Mason, I was leaving.

I went to pick Onix up. I parked in front of the doors so she didn't have to walk far. She walked out of the building and up to my car. She opened the door then got in.

"Yay! A comfortable seat. I hate desk chairs."

She shut the door then put her seatbelt on. I started driving.

"Okay so...you're gonna kill me. I have to work on Saturday."

"Okay."

"I was expecting you to scream or something."

"Eh. It's fine. You have to make up for missing the full day tomorrow."

"How was your day?"

"Decent. Mikey said that Sally's okay and that the 9 months passed quickly."

"We'll probably have that happen to us."

"Yeah. It probably will. Can you take me to look at some books? I finished mine today. If not it's okay. I can always go to the school library."

"I'd like you to rest but okay."

I started driving to the bookstore. I parked close to the entrance.

"Please don't push yourself."

"I'll be okay Lixie baby. I'm gonna take a bath and relax when we get home. Then I'll just relax the rest of the day."

"I-I'm sorry. I just worry about you."

"Awwww you're so cute. I won't take long. I swear. I'll probably only need about an hour."

We got out of the car and went into the bookstore. We wandered over to the sections, she normally goes to. We started going through books.

She picked up and few and handed them to me.

"I'll be back. I have to go to the bathroom."

"I'll follow you."

"Okay. Okay."

We wandered to the bathrooms. I waited by the bathrooms while she went in. I looked at my phone while, I waited. She walked out of the bathroom a few minutes later.

"You good?"

"Yep."

She picked a few more books out then we paid. I didn't let her hold the bag full of books. We got in the car and she started trying to pick a book to bring to school.

"This one might be too dirty. Hmmmm. Ah! This one!"

She opened backpack and put the book in. We got home and she went to take a bath.

Is it me or...

Did she get hotter?

Yeah...

I'm pretty sure she did.

I'm gonna tell her that.

I went to check on her after a while. I opened the bathroom door and saw she was dressed and she was doing her hair.

I walked in and hugged her from behind. I put my chin on her shoulder.

"You're so hot."

"So are you."

"I've picked a name for baby Rhodes."

"Oh?"

"Rosalia."

"Ah. So I win?"

"Yes Lixie. You win."

"Hell yeah. You better go rest now."

"Only if I get my Lixie snuggles tonight."

I chuckled.

"You really are a snuggle monster."

She smiled. She slid out of my arms and ran away.

She's such a little shit.

I walked out of the bathroom and followed her.
