Chapter 3

                                Onix's POV
I started rubbing her arm. I picked up my phone and put my headphones in. I started listening to my music. I yawned after a while. I put my head on top of Winter's. I heard Jensen and Makayla talking about how cute we looked.

The first day on the beach, was calm. Nobody was really there. I laid down in the shade and started reading a book.

"Aunt Nix? I made a friend!"

I put my book down and sat up. I saw a little girl standing next to Winter.

"Hi! I'm Sarah! My brother thinks you're cute!"

"H-he does?"

I've never had a boy think...

I'm cute...

Winter and Sarah dragged me over to a boy.

HOLY SHIT!

HE'S HOT!

LOOK AT HIM!

HE'S IN SHAPE!

LOOK AT ALL THOSE PIERCINGS!

THE EYEBROW ONE IS SO HOT ON HIM!

"I found the cute girl!"

"Oh uh...I wasn't expecting her to bring you over to me. I'm Felix."

"I'm Onix. It's nice to meet you."

"Yeah same. Wanna go walk around and talk?"

"O-okay. I-I'm not good with boys."

"And I'm not good with girls. We're both new to this then."

The kids ran off. Me and Felix started walking.

"So how old are you?"

"16. You?"

"17."

HE'S OLDER TOO?!

"So...I'm assuming....my sister ratted me out to you?"

"Yeah. I think you're hot too."

I realized what I said. I paused.

"I-I-I uh...."

My face started to heat up and his face started to turn red.

"I've never been called that before."

"M-me too."

He held out his hand. I put my hand in his. We started holding hands. It felt....like it was meant to happen. We continued walking. He looked at me like...I was already his girl.

I probably was looking at him like....I was already his girl. I looked into his sterling grey eyes.

"I like your eyes."

"And I like your eyes."

"A-are we flirting right now?"

"I dunno. Are we?"

"I-I'm not sure...I've never flirted before."

"Oh? No? You're doing a decent job at it now."

"Oh well...your piercings make you look even hotter. Especially your eyebrow one."

"Damn! That was a good one!"

"I-it was?"

"Yeah. I've never heard that before. How long are you gonna be here for?"

"About a month. You?"

"Same. We should hangout again."

"Y-you'd like to hangout with me? A boy has never done that with me."

"Damn. I'm lucky then. I might as well be honest here...I'm already starting to have a crush on you."

"S-same here."

He stopped and kissed my forehead. We continued to walk.

"I need your phone number."

"And I need yours. I'd like to be friends with you."

He smiled.

"Same here."

I didn't notice but he interlocked our fingers. I smiled.

"Does this...feel like it's meant to be for you too, Nixie?"

I smiled.

"Yes! It actually does!"

"Alright. I know a pretty good restaurant here. How about...I take you out for lunch tomorrow?"

"Okay!"

"What hotel are you staying at?"

"We actually have a beach house down here. What about you?"

"Ah. Same here. Wanna head back now?"

"Okay."

We turned around and started walking back to our families. I didn't want to let go of his hand. He kept holding mine.

Jensen seemed....

Happy for me.

He didn't go into protective big brother mode.

"Hey Felix. I'm Jensen."

We heard little snickering and turned around.

Sarah and Winter were behind us.

"You little shits...."

"They turned into Cupid."

And it worked!

They fucking led me to a possible boyfriend!

My first boyfriend!

I can see it now....

Me and Lixie walking together side by side.

Our hands would be like this again.

We'd be walking on the beach.

He'd possibly give me my first kiss.
