Chapter 23

Onix's POV
"How was your day?"

"Okay. It was as good as it could be. How was yours? Did you go to the doctor?"

"Yeah. I'm good. Something happened though."

I pulled everything out of my pocket. I held out the ultrasound pictures out of my pocket.

"I'm pregnant again!"

"Really?! Holy shit! Does Lia know?"

"No. I wanted to tell you first."

We kept everything to ourselves for the first weeks. It started to get difficult hiding it once I started growing a bump.

"What do you want more Rosa? A baby brother or baby sister?"

"I just want someone to play with!"

"How would you feel if...we told you...you were getting two sisters?"

Her face lit up.

"I get two baby siblings?!"

"Yep. Luna and Sylvia."

"Mommy can't do much anymore so you're gonna have to help more."

"I have to go rest."

I wandered up to my room and laid down. I put my feet up and started reading a book while listening to music.

                                  Felix's POV
"Okay since mommy is probably too tired to make dinner...do you feel like helping me?"

"Okay!"

"Let's go see what we have."

We went into the kitchen and started going through what we had.

"Daddy! We can make steak and fries!"

"That's a good idea actually."

She opened the freezer and pulled out a bag of fries. Rosalia started helping me make dinner.

"Daddy? Can we get mommy something?"

"Sure."

We started coming up with ideas on what we should get Onix. When dinner was done, I sent Rosalia to go get Onix. They walked into the kitchen and Onix was playing with a piece of her hair.

"There she is! My beautiful baby!"

She walked up to me with her arms out. She walked up to me and started hugging me.

"Hi." She said with a yawn.

"Hi. You okay?"

She nodded.

"I just got tired out outta nowhere."

"Let's eat then you can go back to sleep."

After dinner, Onix started trying to help clean up.

"Baby go sleep."

She insisted on helping put dinner away. I didn't want to argue with her. I hate doing that. She doesn't deserve to get yelled at. We try to calmly talk things out.

Onix started hugging me.

"Head to bed. I'll be there after I get Rose to sleep."

"Goodnight mommy! I love you!"

"Goodnight. I love you too."

"I love you Nixie."

"I love you Lixie."

I kissed her forehead then watched her walk away.

"Alright princess. You can play for another 30 minutes then you need to go to bed. Go get into your pajamas."

"Okay!"

She ran off then came back in her pajamas. She brushed her teeth and hair then went back to playing.

"Mommy'll feel better in the morning right?"

"We'll see. Hopefully she will."

"You're still gonna love me right?"

"Yes sweetheart. We're still going to love you."

I played with her for a half hour then we went to her room. I tucked her in then started reading a story to her. I looked down and saw her eyes were closed. I slowly and carefully snuck out of her room.

I walked to my room and saw Onix sleeping. I started working on the dishes then started working on the laundry.
