Chapter 24

                                  Felix's POV
I went to bed once everything was done. I walked back into our room and Onix was still sleeping. I woke up at the same time in the morning.

I was tired but didn't really care. I just really only cared about helping Onix.

I could always sleep in tomorrow since it's a Saturday.

I went to Rosalita's room and opened the door.

"Princess? Sweetie?"

I walked up her bed.

"Hey Rosey? It's time to wake up."

"I don't wanna get up."

"I know. I hated school too. I promise...you can take a nap after you do your homework later. Okay?"

She groaned.

"Okay. Okay."

She opened her eyes and sat up.

"Let's go pick out an outfit for you then I'll make some pancakes really quickly."

We went to her clothes and started going through everything. I picked up a black shirt with white paw prints all over it.

"I think...you should wear this."

"Oooooo!"

"Let's find black pants and some white socks."

She pulled out a pair of soft black pants.

"I like these. They're cozy!"

"Ah. I love cozy clothes. But who doesn't? Even fancy looking clothes can be cozy."

We finished picking out her outfit then walked to the kitchen. I made breakfast and we went to the dining room.

"I'm gonna go check on your mom. I'll be right back."

I walked up to my room and saw Onix was still sleeping. I sat down on the edge of our bed and started rubbing her arm.

"Darling? I made breakfast. I can bring some up to you if you don't feel like coming downstairs."

She opened her eyes and looked at me.

"Good morning. How do you feel today? Are you hungry?"

She shook her head.

"Okay. I'll just make some extra pancakes for you to have later. You don't have to worry about taking Rose to school."

She nodded.

"I'll tell you when we're leaving."

I stood up she grabbed my hand.

"Awww baby."

I kissed her hand.

"Let me get her ready. I'll see if there's extra time to give you some snuggles. If not then...I'll try to come home about an hour early. You definitely can get snuggles then."

"I'm okay. I just need a minute to wake up."

"Okay darling."

She let my hand go then I started walking back to the kitchen. I found Rosalia sitting on a chair at the dining room table and she was using her phone.

"Are you done eating?"

"Mhm!"

"Alright. Let's clean up."

I made some extra food for Onix then went to start getting Rosalia ready for school. We went into the bathroom and I started doing her hair while she brushed her teeth. When she was completely ready, we went to see Onix.

"Mommy?"

We found her dressed and brushing her hair.

"We're leaving mommy!"

She ran up to Onix and started hugging her.

"Have a good day sweetheart."

I walked up to Onix and hugged her then kissed her.

"Call me if you need anything."

"I love you both."

"I love you too."

"I love you more!"

Onix smiled.

"Are you sure, you'll be okay? I worry about you."

"I know you do. I made it through school while being pregnant. I'll be okay. I'll probably just lay down all day. Read a book or two. Or just eat. Probably all three of those actually. Oooo! You'll leave work to get me, my cravings right?"

"I will. I always do. I'll check on you when, I can."

Me and Rosalia walked outside and I locked the front door. I unlocked my car and she ran up to it. She opened the door and I helped her get in. She plopped down into her car seat and put her seatbelt on.

"Do you have everything? Your phone? Your homework? Your earbuds? Your lunchbox?"

"I do! My earbuds are starting to break. Can I please get new ones?"

"Sure. I'll grab some when I go to the store next."

I shut the door and got in the driver's seat. I turned the car on and the radio started playing.

"Oooo! Daddy?! Can you make it louder?! I like this song!"

"Okay. Not too loud though. I need to be able to hear you and I don't want you to hurt your ears."
