"Ron, open the door. Let's talk." Negan said softly, lightly knocking on the door.

Ron had just witnessed Negan kill someone for the first time, and he had ran off to his room.

"Leave me alone." Ron said, a shake in his voice.
"I can explain. I won't hurt you. Just open the door." Negan pleaded, not wanting Ron to be afraid of him.
Ron said nothing, the knife Carl gave him in his hand.

"Listen, he broke the rules. He had to go. And who's going to do it if not me? It's just my job. It's how I protect people. It's how I protect you." Negan said, hoping he'd open the door.
The door opened only an inch or two.
"What did he do?" Ron asked quietly, peaking through the opening.
"He uh.. he raped someone." Negan whispered. It was obviously difficult just for him to say.

Ron walked away from the door, leaving it open.
Negan pushed it open, entering the room.
He sat on the bed next to the boy, sighing.
"Where'd you get that?" He asked, gesturing to the knife in Ron's hands.
Ron looked down at the knife, taking a shaky breath. Tears fell down his cheeks, and he stayed silent.

"You don't have to tell me." Negan said, putting his arm around him.
He cried harder, burying his face in Negans shoulder.
"It's ok. You're safe with me. I promise." Negan whispered, hugging Ron.

The group of kingdomers rode up to the hilltop, surprised to find it in much the same state as the kingdom. Clearly they had already been attacked.

"Ezekiel? I wasn't expecting you today." Earl said, his son Kenneth by his side.
"We came to warn you of an attack from the saviors. It appears as though we're too late for that." Ezekiel replied, dismounting his horse.
Ron got down as well, going to see the carnage.
"Yeah. They came last night. Did they hit you too?" Kenneth asked.

"Last night for us too. They went on a rampage I guess." Dianne said, her hands on her hips.

"Fuck. I leave for like one fucking day. Simon you fucking bitch." Ron whispered to himself, pacing back and forth with Lucille in his hands.

"Where'd he come from?" Earl said, just noticing the boys presence.
"Alexandria. He wasn't part of this." Ezekiel said, not wanting him to be blamed.
"Bullshit. They had all kinds of walkers. Who moves walkers more than him? Especially for the saviors." Kal said, joining the conversation.
"Kal. Don't. What happened? I thought the saviors liked you." Maggie said, walking to the gates.

"I.. I thought they did? Simon must have made them do this." Ron said, setting Lucille on the ground out of respect for Maggie.
"Not the ones i have in here. All they want to do is kill you. You and Rick." Maggie explained, looking at the boy.

He stood there for a moment, thinking.
"Fuck. Simon must have said something about me. They're probably going to Alexandria tonight. We have to go." Ron said, worried for his old home.

The mixed group of people from the hilltop and the kingdom pulled up to the gates of Alexandria, intending on defending it from Simon and his saviors.
