Song for this chapter; The Mortician's Daughter by Black Veil Brides.

(I know this isn't how Mitch's death went. I'm just kinda brainstorming. Don't judge. xP)

Dez's POV

My phone rang. I handed Kellin to Kellin. "Hello?" I heard my friend, Jolie Lucker in tears. "Jolie, what's wrong?"

"Mitch," she cried. "Can you just come to the hospital?"

"Yes, absolutely." I hung up.

"What's wrong?" Kellin cradled Genevieve in his arms.

"Jolie said there's something wrong with Mitch."

Tristen walked out. "What's wrong?" She asked. Kellin handed Genevieve to her.

"Can you watch the kids? There's something wrong with Mitch." I said.

"Yeah, sure." She said, then looked at Genevieve and smiled. I drove to the hospital and walked in the room Jolie was in. She was crying, like on the phone.

I looked at Mitch and he was covered in dried blood. "What happened?" I asked.

"He was in a motorcycle accident." I hugged her.

"Where's Kenadee?" I asked. "School." She mumbled.

"It's almost 3. Do you want me to go get her?" Kellin asked. Jolie nodded, laying her forehead on her hands.

"I'm so sorry." I said.

"It's okay. How will Kenadee take this?"

Kellin's POV

"Where's mommy and daddy?" Kenadee asked.

"You know that bad things happen in the world, right?" I asked.

"Yeah?" She said.

"Well, something bad happened to daddy," she gasped. "He was in a motorcycle accident and he's in the hospital."

"Is he okay?!" She exclaimed.

"We don't know. Mommy's at the hospital and so is Dez." I said. She didn't shed one tear. I could tell she didn't understand what was happening. We drove to the hospital.

"Daddy!" She yelled. Jolie grabbed her from jumping on him.

"Shh." She shushed.

"Why are you crying? Daddy's okay." Kenadee said. Jolie nodded.

"I hope." Jolie said.

"The doctors said he probably won't make it." Dez whispered to me.

"Mitch is strong, he'll make it." I whispered. "

You never know, even the strongest people don't make it sometimes." Dez continued.

"Mommy, I'm hungry." Kenadee said.

"Let's go get something to eat then." Jolie said. We left and went home.

"What happened?" Tristen asked.

"Mitch was in a bad motorcycle accident." Dez said.

"Is he alright?" Tristen asked again. Dez shrugged.

"I fucking hope so." Tristen said, cradling Kellin.

"Where's Genevieve?" I asked. "Asleep." Tristen said.

"I just hope Mitch'll be okay." Dez said.

"Me too." I said. Tristen tucked Kellin into bed and left.

Dez and I went to bed. When I woke up, Dez was crying.

"What's wrong?" I asked hugging her.

"Mitch. He's dead." She cried. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. He couldn't be. No. This wasn't happening.

(He died at 11 pm but they didn't find out till the next morning. Sorry I didn't mention it. Sorry I took forever to update. Comment and vote please.)
